A list of puns related to "Penn And Teller"
Christopher: Low life cunt, hooah get the fuck out of my sight.
One of their episodes on Lawns referenced this guy in Hilliard who said he spends 10-12 hours every week on his lawn (and even mowed it and seeded it in the middle of winter; maybe that was for camera show, or maybe not). And was very proud of his 2005 Hilliard area garden club award.
Anybody know where this house is? I want to see if so many years later his lawn is still Oscar worthy

Hey guys thanks for the upvotes and comments on me showing my copy of Penn and Teller VR. The game i would say is exactly what the game is marketed. It's a game meant to prank/fool your friends with. I believe it succeeds well there. Unfortunately i regret to inform the game has no Desert Bus VR.
I've tried everything and searched to see if I missed something but unfortunately nothing. Not all hope is lost there is some good news and some bad news.
Good News: I've read/ found a few articles saying Desert Bus VR is coming to PSVR and gearbox will be publishing it.
Bad News: All the articles were released in January 2019 and no release date or any other information/updates has been provided.
If anyone has any news or information please let everyone here know. I keep my fingers crossed.
Was in Vegas for the weekend and was searching for good tickets to Penn and Teller. Took a chance and reached out to /u/DenverBronco from the sub. Tickets were at least half price and amazing, they were in the seventh row. If anyone wants to see the show I recommend reaching out to him, he met me at my hotel as well. Super easy and made my night.
I listened to a recent episode of Penn's Sunday School and he explained that when he and Teller are deliberating, their earpieces and microphones are live with Johnny Thompson and the producers. Those people hear everything Penn and Teller guess and debate over, and most of the time, Johnny and the producers will let Penn and Teller know whether or not they've been fooled BEFORE Alyson even prompts them for comment, because Penn needs to get what he's going to say ready.
Penn also said that sometimes Johnny and the producers don't tell them whether or not they've been fooled because occasionally they feel that will make for better TV. I'm thinking Mathieu Bich was one of those times.
I just wanted to make a post about this because I've seen people questioning several recent foolers where Penn and Teller make no guess and go straight to "you fooled us!"
Penn explained all this when he was talking about being fooled by Emily Victoria. It's Episode 427 - Sometimes Penn Gets An Idea; Sometimes We Get An Idea. Listen here.
Is it a reference to the 2 magicians? They look like them. Anyone can confirm??
Long-time lurker on this sub. I created an account to share a particular aspect of the series that has now shown itself: a full-fledged, behind-the-scenes look at the game. Not only was it a way to show off the work that went into making the series' game in a kayfabe way, but also reveal the how some of the tricks the game pulls off works. It reminds me of Penn & Teller's Smoke and Mirrors.
To those that don't know, Smoke & Mirrors is an unreleased Sega CD game that would have starred the two magicians/comedians and have the player play tricks on their friends. Essentially, it's the video game equivalent of Cruel Tricks for Dear Friends. S&M would have had two discs, one to teach the player how to set up the tricks, and one to play the tricks on their friend. All the tricks are based off video game tropes, like predicting a card using button codes, or stacking a competition in your favor no matter what controller you're using.
I was reminded of that game after watching the new Petscop videos. A hidden debug mode included in the game that can record inputs and play them back later, including what the older builds of the game looked like. A VRAM viewer and editor. Even the way you can toggle what demos to show off, and have the player learn from, like in Super Metroid. All to spy on, and potentially screw with or influence, the player playing the game. It all feels like the game is a tool in an experiment, and less of a way to air out a family's dirty laundry. There is definitely more to this game than what we're seeing, or it's just so super elaborate for a "ghost story."

Is the video online anywhere?
Were they disparaging/attacking Chomsky's position in this episode or what exactly was there whole angle?
I can't tell if these comments were tongue-in-cheek or genuinely disparaging:
>PENN (VO): [over shaky outside shot of the Stata Center] If we were going to find out why, we realized we had to go to the top, to the college professor considered by many to be the smartest man in academia: Noam Chomsky. [shot of β32-D808: Department of Linguistics and Philosophy Headquartersβ door] [shot of old news footage of Chomsky surrounded by reporters] Chomsky teaches linguistics at MIT, heβs a fawned-over cultural hero of the left, due to his protests of the Vietnam War and virtually every action of the United States since.
>So at first reading, he sounds like someone weβd like! Vietnam was way American bullshit....
>PENN (VO): We told him weβd introduce him to Kirstie Alley. [shot of cameras and interview set up as Chomsky shakes another manβs hand] Smartest man in academia, my achinβ ass. He fell for it! [Chomsky waves to camera]...
>Chomsky wasnβt being upfront with us. And come to think of it, why would he be? Our show is called Bullshit! And heβs supposed to be the smartest man in academia. He canβt show his cards right away.
>Better to keep everyone unsuspecting. Huh-huh, the slippery bastard....
>PENN: Notice how he slipped in that word home....
>PENN: Noam would be right if the college was 100% private. But the ones weβre talking about just arenβt.
The cup and balls with clear cups, the burning flag explanation, and the endless cigarette routine come to mind. I thought the first rule of magic club was to not reveal secrets?
