I started off doing various things but God damn the trump crap will fly off the shelves, so I made my online persona conservative and built a small following and literally just live off the money of people I hate, easiest money I've ever made.

So, for 10 years I was best friends with this girl lets call her Sarah and Sarah has another best friend who is child free lets call her Julia.

At age 21, Sarah dropped out of university while 3 months away from completing a bachelor degree and diploma. She was literally only 3 months away from graduation and the internship she was in would have offered her a full time position with benefits.

She immediately blew us off as judgmental and as friends we should support her. Other people told us we should support her if were good friends because there is nothing wrong with being a mother, but that wasn't the issue. 3 months later, Sarah packed her things and moved far off into suburbia a small family town that she picked in hopes of finding a husband. She detested coming to the city, where we live, because apparantly that's a place for "hoes" and she won't find a husband there. So any time she came over it was just her complaining that she should be married and pregnant. She got a job at a store similar to target.

She immediately complained retail wasn't cutting it for her. She could barely make bill payments which heightened her reason to find a husband. She was complaining that most men our age would not want to get married and have babies. She tried dating older, but older men thought she didn't know herself. She would condemn me and Julia for not wanting kids. She became very pro life and would on and on about how she would die for a hypothetical fetus so the baby can remember her as a self sacrificing martyr.

I didn't get how society expected me to support this. Someone I know essentially ruining their own life by throwing away their good job, education, home, and friends just to get pregnant before age 24? Society paints this as a happy ending?!

Finally, she met a guy who we will call Jacob. Sarah went out with Jacob once with our mutual friend Ashley. Ashley told me that Jacob looked like a "promising" man, and Sarah told him "My friend u/shades0fcool owns an online crystal and bath salts shop cause she's one of *those* girls. But not me tho. I'm a truck driver and to say this time of year is stressful is an understatement. Between tight deadlines on loads, customers realizing they need something last minute before the holiday and added traffic all over the country it's a nightmare.

Yesterday I went to a customer to pick-up a load heading to Iowa so I could drop it for another driver to get home, then grab my load back east so I could get home. At this point I realize it's almost noon and they're trying to blow me off and leave me until after lunch, I had been up since 03:30 and was having none of it, I had a long way to go and a short time to get there. So I whip out my phone and look at the app we use to send and receive load info, usually along with the customers address and pick-up numbers is a phone number for them. I figure I'll just call the shipping office and get their attention that way.

Phone starts to ring on my end, but instead of the shipping office I get the company directory and first listing on the directory is the plant manager. Now if my time in the Army has taught me anything you get the best results by jumping the chain of command.

So I hit #69420 for the plant manager and put my phone on speaker. As soon as Fingerhut Fran hears the voice-mail for the plant manager she turns around and starts shrieking. I calmly raise my finger in the "just one minute" sign and proceed to leave a voice-mail on the plant manager's line explaing who I was, who I drove for, what load I was supposed to pickup and finished off by adding that his shipping office personnel were present, but too busy online shopping to acknowledge my existence. I thanked him, left my number and hung up.

By now everyone in the office were staring slack jawed at me, Fingerhut Fran was beet red and fuming. The other person in the office just tells me to back into a door and they'll get to me soon. I figure at that point my day is shot and they'll leave me in the dock as long as possible to retaliate.

I have a full time job and therefore I’m not home to sign for deliveries during the day. Couriers like DHL, Toll etc often don’t have local collection points and their depots are 30 mins drive away. I’m generally not able to get things delivered to work either.

Online shops should communicate if they use Aus Post or a courier so I can make an informed decision which address to use for delivery, or if I should even bother buying whatever it is. Couriers are usually too difficult to actually get the package from!

I have one small fabric shop near me, but have get a lot of my quilt fabric online. Some has been great, and some has been disappointing. So I figured I'd ask the experts: where are your favorite places to buy quilt fabric online?

Hi everyone!

I'm about to start IV infusion treatments for an autoimmune disease and need some advice that's both practical and style-centered. I'll be sitting in a room for a couple of hours getting medicine and probably saline through an IV, and I'll have to do this a couple of times a month at first. It's very cold where I live right now, plus I always get cold when getting IV fluids. I'd like to be cozy, warm, and comfortable, but need to be able to give the nurse access to the vein in my elbow bend. And I'm not really a big athleisure person, so I don't own tons of leggings or drapey things. I'm also pretty petite (5'0", usually wear a US size 2 or 4), so lots of standard sizes are just plain too long on me.

I'd be particularly interested to hear from anyone who has undergone similar treatments about what they wore and what worked or didn't work for them. I feel like being warm, comfortable, and looking at least a little bit put-together will be good for the soul while I try to get my body to cooperate.

Yes, I know queer women use straps on and that non-binary people exist but I'm looking at finally buying some Rodeoh packing underwear and their facebook is filled with women wearing packing underwear with no prosthetic. Why do we have to include EVERYONE all the time? Similar shops for trans women wouldn't post a cis man posing while wearing a breast plate and a hi-vis, that's offensive because that's a man. Call me an asshole or whatever-phobic but I just want one site with regular guys wearing regular clothes using the packing underwear with their packer and/or binding with tanks, trans tape, etc to see what might look best on me before buying. Not obese, attention-seeking, "alternative" women posing half naked (for the bodypos points) to show off how quirky and gender non-conforming and sUpEr QuEeR they are. It makes me really dysphoric and just furthers the idea that people don't see us as men. It's starting to borderline on erasure, like bi erasure. We're not marginalized or oppressed enough for people to care about the feelings of. FTM safe spaces have become a safe space for all AFAB people but binary guys. esp straight or bi but straight leaning men. There's a reason many of us find cis guys the most chill/accepting to be around.

We can't even have one basic thing. Buying a packer, binder, or affirming undergarments and clothing should be an exciting experience that I come away from feeling excited and good about myself. Not disgusted and reminded that society will always see as some kind of butch lesbian that's "trying to be like a man" because I can't grow a beard (working on it) so I'll have that one thing that upon first look at me will hopefully remove any doubt that I'm a man. It's bad enough I'm still pre-op and probably will be until I die.

Also, printed binders are the dumbest thing I've ever seen. They're not a fucking fashion accessory.

EDIT: I **really** worded the fat thing poorly. What I mean was that the two specific women I was describing were the bodypos, haes believers so fat acceptance (encouragement) just to add another layer onto the cake of woke bullshit. I am fat. Fat people deserve to be represented and feel good in what they wear. It was their general bullshittery of thinking fat is a personality or lifestyle that pissed me off.

I prefer to shop for my clothes in person. I've always struggled with buying my clothing online because I'm someone who must try their clothing on before they buy it. It's especially been harder with COVID regulations where (understandably!) dressing rooms are closed off in a lot of stores.

I love that there are more possibilities for finding great items online, but I've often ordered something that I liked online but hated/been underwhelmed on how it looked on me. I also hate spending time shipping/returning items i dont like.

Does anybody have any tips for getting more successful online purchases? How do you navigate buying stuff online and ensuring it's something that you will like?

Inače sam ponekad išla u jedan Second Hand shop "blizu" Bikersa koji je prodavo stvari na kile, i tam sam se nakupovala fora jakni,,....al kad smo došli tam 2019/2020 nije ga bilo- a na itnernetu nikad nije bio pokazivan.

Tako da evo, hajm nabacat ovdje sve Second hand/Thrift shopove, te opčenito dučane koji imaju jeftinu robu za koje znate da su i dalje u pogonu 2022 , u Zagrebu(il zagrebačkoj Županiji, ak hoćemo malo proširit pojam) ili Online.

Hey everyone,

I recently moved to a new house and want to decorate a section of the house with antiques. I am fascinated with vintage collectables and thinking of starting my collection with some Sikh artefacts.

I have a large Harmandir Sahib canvas on the wall and think the sword will look beautiful under it (on a wooden/marble table). Ideally something at least 50-100 years old and hopefully under AU$1500. Any suggestions?

(I live in Sydney AU. Based on a quick Google search, it seems it is easy to import antique swords in Australia with proper paper work.)
