This book came from another thread and I was wondering if an expert on the subject would like to address it’s claims.
I read like half of the fall of America i stoped after the homophobia and racism to minorities became to much for a gay guy to bear. I feel like that as well as some of his religious beliefs because as a atheist i just found them unfounded if a bit intriguing. Also after hearing malcolm X's accusations saying Muhammad was a pedophile also kinda turned me off. And to learn that members of the church of Islam assassinated X really turned me off the book.
I will say im interested in the social political elements talked about but it really is overshadowed by the more extreme claims and views imo.

Like i am not so sure.
I've been learning about the history of the Nation of Islam in the United States, and it's fascinating. It really makes me curious about alternate history fiction in which NOI makes or even succeeds at an attempt to secede from the United States (something in the vein of The Yiddish Policeman's Union). I'd also be interested in any other SF that deals with NOI.

Edit: Thanks for all the suggestions thus far! I'm really interested in SF that deals with Islam in any way, but it might be worth clarifying that The Nation of Islam is an African-American political movement, and different from the general religion of Islam.
