The issue covers the New Japan show at the Osaka Dome on 13 November which at that point had the worst attendance for a New Japan Dome event in history. It had an announced attendance of 28,000 while actual attendance was 15,000 with that being heavily papered.
New Japan had scheduled the show without any idea as to the angles and matches it wanted to run so it polled the fans who said they wanted to see Shinsuke Nakamura v Hiroshi Tanahashi in the main event.
Unfortunately they were at that point pretty young stars and the announced match resulted in few tickets being sold. Therefore Inoki panicked a few days before the show, scrapped the two matches people wanted to see (Tana v Shinsuke and Triple Crown champ Kawada v G1 winner Tenzan) and went with his fall back strategy of booking shooters in a rearranged card that was much worse than what was originally booked.
The New Japan fans were expecting Tenzan to bring the Triple Crown to New Japan as he had been beaten by Kawada twice. Inoki instead went with booking a New Japan v Hustle feud which the New Japan fans hated.
Inoki booked a double main event of Naoya Ogawa & Kawada (dressed up like Hustle K as his Hustle character) vs. Tenzan & Tanahashi. Inoki also made a main event of Kazuyuki Fujita & Kendo Kashin vs. Nakamura & Manabu Nakanishi.
The IWGP heavyweight title match was Minoru Suzuki v Kensuke Sasaki and was the third last match on the card below two matches no one wanted to see especially as they were not interested in Kawada playing his Hustle character. As a result 1,000 to 2,000 fans immediately left after the IWGP title match.
The event was made worse by Tana, Shinsuke and Shibata (the three future stars of the company) all doing jobs to outsiders who were not part of the promotion - Fujita, Kawada and Genichiro Tenryu. The show closed with Fujita destroying Nakamura in brutal fashion. Fujita kicked Nakamura's body and face with soccer kicks for the knockout and the pin. The finish was said to be very uncomfortable. Antonio Inoki got mad at Nakamura for being knocked out, and started punching and kicking him until Fujita stopped him. Inoki then yelled at Nakamura, saying he needed to show more fighting spirit.
Fujita then ended by pushing his own New Year's Eve appearance for K-1 in the same Osaka Dome.

Basically my question is is now as good a time as any to get in on iron ore or should I hold off for a bit to see what happens with Evergrande (given a collapse in the Chinese construction industry would obviously be bad for iron ore, let alone the economy/market in general)?
