I posted his SC in the producers sub and the people were awesome. However I would like to get it out there more as he freaked out by the amount of plays he got last night. And due to his autism it's great to see him completely stoked. From the feedback he got it seems his stuff is pretty good. Especially for a 13 year old who got Fruity loops for XMAS. But I really don't know where else to share it, it has been tough searching for a good place.

Disclaimer: this post is not a result of any specific interaction I’ve had recently but a more general observation of what I’ve seen since I got here last year
Have you noticed that in posts with lots of comments, very rarely do commenters interact with each other? They type their answer (often without reading duplicates) and ignore what everyone else has said. OP may respond to comments at times but there is very little “inter-commenter” interaction.
However, there is a lot of individual commenters who type up a big paragraph of their own advice they think is indisputable, and often these comments have 1 or 2 upvotes.
Besides certain members of the sub who regularly give very good explanations and advice, many of these long comments seem to spawn from a sense of intellectual superiority, which I believe is the reason there is so little interaction between commenters.
I’ve noticed this in college music classes as well. People barely introduce themselves, let alone talk to others. Wanna know what people don’t hesitate to do, though? When the teacher says something that most people in the class know, some genius has to mutter something about how they knew that or it’s obvious or anyone who doesn’t know that is dumb. And maybe it’s true. Maybe everyone in the class knew that. But when you talk to yourself to look smart you end up looking like a huge know it all and jerk. In jazz class, the teacher asked if we knew what modes were, and even though I knew, I didn’t feel the need to pat myself on the back and groan about how elementary it was. I really couldn’t enjoy the class even though I love jazz, because a large amount of my peers were too worried about looking like the smartest in the room and it was very obnoxious.

I think if we can get out of our individual shells and just have good conversations the environment around here would have a much better feel to it. Humility goes a long way in helping others to learn. It opens the door for less experienced people to feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and adding valuable input to the discussion.
No wonder subs like this have a lot people but are barely interesting. People behind them are just incompetent
I am here not as a fan of kpop music (not that I hate it) but as a fan of "noise music" "traditionally defined as such". I have often heard of noise music in reference to Kpop, sometimes it sounded like an innerjoke and sometimes there were people using it as an insult. I've listened to some things that are called noise music but they seem 100% pop to me (not that there is anything wrong with making pop music) so I wanted to ask: are there actually kpop bands that use white sound, cacophony and atonality in their music? Because I'm very curious to hear how it sounds. Or is it a term that has a different meaning / innerjoke?

I read up on something about toxic masculinity having such a strong hold on black men because of white supremacy and them being helpless of it in America also it has something to do with poverty as well I read up on. Anyways I honestly dislike interacting with black men being a mixed race male I'm judged for being light skin, attractive, and then my music taste are judge as well.
I went out of town and met my extended family I talked to my cousin over text and he legit told me stuff that sounded like they were rules to listening to music for men like WTF? There's fucking rules to listening to music? He was like "guys don't listen to women artist" and "they only listen to other guys" "they can listen to females but if only they are featured with a male artist? Like what? Since when we're there fucking rules for music it's honestly sad and this is why there isn't any growth going on no one is growing because of the toxicity veiled as masculinity telling black men they have to behave this way or that way like be who you are like what you like damn!
Any advice? This is why I hate interacting with black men I'm always judge for stupid things and it makes me self conscious. Anyways for example I remember I was singing and 21 pilots song the dope days and then my older black male cousin said "stop singing that gay song"? Like! and it's makes feel like anything white people do in music is labeled gay because white men have higher pitched voices is that it?
Ive been making music for 5 years now. I’ve reach this point where I’ve made good music but everything else is a disaster. I don’t have any fans, no friends, no way of finding support.
