I am worried poppers may have caused permanent learning/memory and motor coordination impairment.

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/26971703/ Neurotoxicity induced by alkyl nitrites: Impairment in learning/memory and motor ccoordination The paper does not say wether impairment is permanent or if it is caused by any amount of usage. Would a person who used it occasionally for the past four years be ok? I may have used it around 10 to 20 times a year. I mainly used it for anal sex but sometimes also for solo time. In each session I would inhale about six times, and each time grabbed the bottle to inhale again I sniffed about four to 6 times.

LPT: if you or anyone in your household has a motor impairment, contact your local police or fire department and attempt to have that added to the dispatch notes for your address.

This way if there is an emergency at your home we can approach the situation with the most information possible. Many departments are open to this, and it can sometimes change the way we search, especially if they’re bed bound!

Web Accessibility for Motor Impairments

Hi,

I'm a student who's currently working on a project where the goal is to make a website that is specifically tailored to be accessible to people with visual, auditory and motor impairments.

I have researched assistive technologies that people with motor impairments might use, but struggled to find much else in terms of information on how to design for motor impairments on the web.

I was wondering if any of you would be so kind as to share your experiences of browsing the web with me? Do you for example have any gripes with the way websites are designed nowadays?

I'm aware that motor-impairments, and specifically cerebral palsy comes in many varieties, and might cause different issues for different people - so I greatly appreciate any feedback!

Really hope I didn't offend anyone with this post!

Hoping to hear from you all!

Skyrim community I need your help with mods to make the game playable for someone with motor skills impairment

Hi everyone, long time Xbox Skyrim player here, so I'm building a gaming computer and plan to run skyrim, my wife has expressed how she wishes she could play Skyrim but has some minor issues with fine motor skills and coordination (even tho she is a fantastic ballroom dancer) I want to try to find some mods I can run while also having the game on the easiest setting to make combat easier, I feel like combat is going to be the only aspect that may be an issue for her and I was hoping you more knowledgeable individuals may have some recommendations. Also does anyone know if any voice controlling programs such as voice attack or running Cortana in game work with PC Skyrim? I have no current experience with mods or PC gaming. Thanks in advance everyone id love to share the fun and adventure of one of my favorite games with my wife and any help would be greatly appreciated!

Anyone else with fine motor impairment play Stardew?

I've gotten so into the game over the last week, it's crazy. I always tend towards raising/RPG games because of the limited precision required, and Stardew really scratches that itch. Right now I'm looking forward to my first rhubarb crop.

My only problems are with the fishing and combat. Combat is usually alright, but the fishing is a nightmare. If fishing in Pokemon is disability-unfriendly, Stardew fishing is like trying to thread a single string through the world's tiniest needle. Since you can only get most of the Bundle fish through them randomly appearing at the Travelling Merchant, I'm probably going to be waiting a couple in-game years to finish the community centre, and that sucks.

WTW for a quietly deranged, silent, frail cat with some sort of sensory motor impairment

I'm trying to find the right word to describe this cat (and her owner) who both had the same sort of spooky, strung-out, frail vibe. Like they'd both been electrocuted and/or had one too many bad trips.

The word that popped into my mind was "neuroleptic" but then I realized that is a class of medicine not a condition in itself.

The cat had something wrong with it that made it look...what's the word....messed up, schizoid, spectral...like a vacant stare, possibly with a lazy or cataract eye, can't remember. But it wasn't like, a mean cat, just like a cat that had definitely SEEN SOME SHIT. Skittish, twitchy yet it seemed to move in slow motion.

The word isn't "mangy" but maybe something similar to raggedy, flea-bitten...none of these words feel quite right but I'm not sure there's actually a specific word that captures what I want.

Godspeed to anyone who wants to help me find out!
