A list of puns related to "Mosses"
I've noticed a few posts on here and other sites of people trying to figure out names for their little mossy friends, and I've not even gotten one yet and I'm still trying to figure out what I would hypothetically name one. That being said, I do have a running list in my Notes app that I thought would be nice to share here so that anybody who's trying to name their moss ball could see if they like any of these!

My friend and I went to see a movie this morning and we stopped at a hobby lobby that was across the street. I love glass anything. So we took a gander at all the jars and vases, I was in love!
"We should go hiking someday"
"Yeah, we should."
So I suggest we collect little things to make a terrarium. She said it would be epic.
The thing is. . .I live in Michigan. It's snowing now. But when spring comes I want to explore the wild, away from the cities.
But is there any dangers to collecting wild mosses? I got a small patch of pin cushion moss that fell off my roof last summer. . .a baby snail appeared a few days later.
I have a hamster too, if that helps evaluate the dangers.
An uncle recently gifted me a bunch of tropical mosses and carnivorous plants and i'd like to find them some friends to populate an old fish tank I have.
Most of the sellers are based online, but I'd like to see if there are any physical stores in Ottawa or Gatineau.
Time to trim my tanks (and to pay for plants I've been buying myself, it's a problem)! Prices for each are below, and shipping is $9.50 priority (USPS). If youβre local (to the greater Huntsville Metro), we can meet up. Cherry shrimp are also available for locals at $2/shrimp.
Packages are available upon request.

Hi there,
I always wonder why everybody talks so much about the sphagnum moss to use in your terrarium. I know that it is a good acidic moss and retains quite a lot of water. But would it also be possible to use other types of dead mosses?
I have for instance a lot of Pleurozium schreberi in my garden. Some of it can be harvested and dryed out. I also have some Leucobryum Glaucum where the white part could definitely be used instead of going to the compost.
I don't have the possibility to harvest sphagnum moss in my country, because it is very protected (I respect that) and I find ridiculous to buy some of it than comes from other continents.
