Basically the title. I'd like to hear your stories of times when you've seen signal flags in use on the water!
I'm learning the International Code of Signals meanings for maritime flags. Besides the diving flags, I suspect many (most?) of them are not much used by boaters anymore--but maybe that means when they are used, the stories are epic? I don't really expect to use them much but my grandfather was in the signal corps so I've long been fascinated by this kind of thing.
