A list of puns related to "Lightheadedness"
Hey all! Apologies if I'm in the wrong here, but wanted to ask around to see if my current symptoms match what some here have been experiencing.
For clarity, I NEVER tested positive on a covid test. My fiance, who I live with, tested positive for Covid about a month ago. She had minor omicron symptoms but was otherwise okay. I personally never tested positive, but we live in such a small apartment that me isolating from her is not really possible and I didn't have anywhere else to go.
That being said, I've been experiencing very strange bouts of light headedness. It started with random waves of light headedness and dizziness. The lightheadedness almost made me feel faint. It was like a wave through my entire upper body. Went to the ER and they cleared me from a heart perspective and told me to visit my primary care doctor.
Primary care chalked it up to vertigo and gave me meclizine. I opted to see an ENT who says my lightheadedness is not typically with vertigo. So I'm now seeing a neurologist fairly soon...
Anyways, the lightheadedness is just super strange. It has happened a handful of times over the last 10 days or so. I've had other symptoms (No headaches or nausea) but I am chalking those up to my anxiety kicking in after not knowing what's going on with my body. The dizziness has pretty much faded.
My mom thinks that I probably had covid without knowing and this is a post-covid spell. Has anyone experienced something like this?
I've been doing peloton rides since pre-pregnancy and I'm now 7mo pregnant. I've been getting reallllllly lightheaded after rides. (Not during! I feel great! Stamina is down a little but I make it though). I feel like I have to lay down and it takes me like 20 min to recover. I'll bring this up with my OB next week, but has anyone else felt this with cardio they're doing?
I'm asking because I don't know whether or not I might have POTS but I am curious, I've had constant brain fog for the past 3-4 years accompanied with blurrier vision and a constant feeling of lightheadedness, it feels like my head isn't pumped up as it used to be. I almost feel like my head is a half glass of water.
There also was a time in my life where I felt like I was going to pass out after standing up but I'm past that now.
My primary contenders for what could be causing my brain fog were Sleep Apnea and Spinal/Postural complications but now I'm kinda no longer convinced one of those could be it so now I'd like to look into POTS. If I'm being honest, a huge part of me doesn't really think I have POTS but I'm willing to give it a shot because I'm dumbfounded on what could be causing this debilitating brain fog.
Not asking for medical advice, just having a hard time tonight. I am apparently VERY anemic and I work on my feet for 12 hours a day. Luckily my bosses don't mind if I sit at this point in pregnancy because the machines I run are very laid-back.
My doctor's have me on an additional iron supplement and I am eating a lot of iron rich foods, but it seems like it isn't enough some days. Tonight I stand up slowly and only standing for a few minutes makes me light headed and dizzy. I'm worried I'm not absorbing the iron effectively or something, and I'm considering going home for the night even though I don't want to use up all of my sick time before baby is born.
Just feeling really poopy tonight and wanted to vent a bit.
Took 10mg about an hour ago, now I feel lightheaded. And sleepy, does melotonin do this?
Iβve been diagnosed with a HH a year ago and about 3 days ago I started experiencing and off putting symptom and was curious to know if anyone has experienced the same.
Lately whenever I am standing, moving around, or generally active I have felt lightheaded. Almost like my vision isnβt in focus and I get a little lightheaded especially when turning or looking in different directions. These symptoms disappear when I am sitting or laying in bed.
Iβve been to a cardiologist that did a full work up and everything was normal. I saw a neuro who did an MRI and everything was normal there too.
I am on 40mg omeprazole daily to help with the gerd related to the HH. I was reading the side effects thinking it might have something to do with it and I saw certain side effects;
βGeneral feeling of illness or discomfortβ βDizzinessβ βMood or mental changesβ
Would any of these describe the lightheadedness i get? Also has anyone else with a HH experienced this type of feeling? Iβd like to know your thoughts.
People who have suffered lightheadedness/dizziness for months or years, what was your eventual treatment that worked. What was your diagnosed issue. Iβm looking for maybe unusual reasons that caused the lightheadedness/dizziness.
Iβve had this lightheadedness for months and I have no idea what it could be. All my blood is clear. I suffered with h pylori 3/4 months ago and that caused some damage to my stomach, and I get discomfort in gallbladder area, awaiting endoscopy. However, I donβt see this being the reason for my light headedness.
Any insights or success stories would be helpful.
I get very lightheaded and dizzy and sometimes even tunnel vision after pulling a heavy rep. I eat plenty of food before hand and drink plenty of water. I see a lot of videos of people passing out from deadlifting and I donβt want the same thing to happen to me. Has anyone got any good solutions to lightheadedness from heavy deadlifting?
Okay so I really need help. Bit of backstory. Since the beginning of September 2021, I was getting really and stomach cramps. One stool test later, I had h pylori. So they put me on triple eradication; amoxicillin, omeprazole, metronidazole. Once I competed the week, I had to take omeprazole for another few weeks. A week later of taking it, the same pain was still there, wouldnβt reduce at all. Call the doctor, (different doctor because my practice is full of Locums; absolutely hate that). The doc gives me another course of triple eradication but this time swapping out the metronidazole for chlarithromycin. I do the course, continue taking omeprazole for 2 weeks. I feel better but I can feel so much strain on every other organ (dull pains where my liver, abdomen area). Get some bloods taken, and thereβs been small elevations in my pancreas and liver but nothing too concerning.
Anyways, now I wanted off the omeprazole because of these other pains. So I stop, but a few days later, when I was hungry, pain struck really bad. I guess my stomach acid was still bothering something. I call the doctor, (different again). Doc issues me Lanzaprazole to take. I take that for 2 - 3 weeks, but then came off it due to other dull pains again. However, this time I guess itβs done the work as I donβt feel cramps no where near as strong. I would say 85% of the pain has gone.
Now the problem. A month ago I started getting lightheadedness and feeling faint. From the moment I wake up, even when Iβm just walking around, I can feel the lightheadedness and faintness. All blood tests have come back clear now, including vitamin levels. (Iβve been taking vitamin D, B12 and probiotics) but no changes the lightheadedness. I have no idea what it could be, this is affecting my daily life and Iβm just tired. Get a load of this, when I mentioned this to the doc, he said βit will subside, there is vertigo going aroundβ. What does that even mean?
To add to this, yes my stomach feels better but I get this dull feeling in my upper right abdomen which doesnβt feel good at all. So now I have lightheadedness and this dull feeling in my upper right abdomen. I had an ultrasound done 3 weeks ago and it all came back clear. No stones, no inflammation.
Before this whole h pylori treatment, Iβve never had any issues. Now all of this. Iβm a 28 year old male and I stay active and donβt eat a lot of junk. Any one going through anything similar (a long shot I know) or does anyone have any suggestions.
About a month ago I was up late studying for a exam. I had a headache but was working through it. Out of nowhere I felt the sensation that the room was spinning (vertigo not panic attack) for about 10 seconds. Afterwards I felt slightly dizzy and disoriented. I went to sleep thinking I was just fatigued and that it would go away in the morning but now a month later Iβm still feeling it. Iβve been to doctors and they couldnβt come to a conclusion as to what it was but told me it probably wasnβt serious.
Since so much time has passed and it hasnβt gone away Iβm starting to be concerned and Iβm wondering if anyone online might be able to know whatβs going on.
Here are some relevant details: The disorientation and dizziness are relatively light. I can still perform all of my day to day functions including coursework. It feels as though Iβm slightly dissociated, disoriented, off balance, and that my brain cannot operate at full capacity. It feels like there is a general numbness in my brain. Drinking alcohol seems to make my issue significantly worse the next day. My vision feels a little off, especially depth perception.
Iβm 22 years old. I have anxiety and tinnitus. I drink alcohol regularly. I had a concussion 6 months ago but healed properly and a CT scan confirmed that I had no internal damage. (It is interesting to note that my symptoms feel very similar to those I felt post concussion. But multiple doctors assured me that since I had a healthy recovery, the concussion cannot affect me months later like this.)
TLDR: experiencing lightheadedness and dizziness for over a month and cannot get a proper diagnosis.
If you need more information please feel free to ask.
While I was driving today I was having a conversation with my mom about something that was kinda hard to take in I suppose and all of a sudden I got sort of a sinking feeling like you would feel if you're in an airplane that's preparing to land and immediately after my vision started looking like there was a web of light in front of my eyes and the light proceeded to get stronger in the span of about 30 seconds until I could not see anything else but light with my eyes wide open. I didn't feel dizzy or panicked while it was happening, just slightly lightheaded and I felt a slight sensation in I'd guess my prefrontal cortex after the matter. I'd like to know if there's anything I need to be concerned about, thank you.
So I'm on day 5 since having tested positive and I've been feeling ridiculously dizzy / lightheaded for about 24hrs now. It's really bad, it's painful to be stood up, I feel I can just faint at any moment. While resting, I just have this very annoying headache on the left side of my head accompanying the dizziness. It just feels like I'm constantly motion sick. This is by far the worst of all symptoms I've had so far.
Last night I also had the horrible leg pain, so bad I couldn't sleep.
How are you guys alleviating this? Can I take meds like Dramamine for the dizziness?
I'm 27F (168cm) and 89kg
I have hypothyroidism and have been on levothyroxine for a year at a consistent dose and my thyroid levels are normal now. I'm also on pristiq since two months. I also have GERD.
For the past two weeks I've been having bad bouts of dizziness that I can't find a consistent onset of. They happen randomly. I will also sometimes get a feeling as though I can feel a strong pulse in my head. Twice I went swimming and the pulsing feeling was very strong and then I got extremely dizzy.
They first started about 4 days before I got sick with a bad flu, and I assumed it was some kind of weird pre-sickness symptom so ignored it, but I've been "healed" for about a week now and I'm still getting very dizzy, lightheaded. It's been getting worse and the dizziness lasting longer, but today was the worst. I haven't done anything physical in about 1.5 weeks so I don't think it's caused by physical exertion. I literally cannot find a a single consistent cause for when the dizziness starts.
Today I woke up, and as I opened my eyes I felt the most dizzy and lightheaded I've felt so far. I didn't even sit up yet and I could feel as if the world was shifting and tilting. I've been feeling it all day, with just a variation on how extreme it is. The only new symptom that started today was that I'm also feeling very foggy headed and almost dampened , as if I took too many sleeping pills , and I'm finding that I have to put more effort into swallowing. It almost feels like the muscles in the top part of my throat ( behind the dangly thing) are more asleep or dampened with the rest of my head and is not as responsive so I'm more aware of it - all as though I'm being put under anesthesia. I'm also a bit nauseas
I don't even know what kind of tests to run to see what's going on.
Any help or advice to even see what tests to run is appreciated, Id like to go to a doctor having already run some tests with some results to speed up that back and forth process.
I stopped drinking on the 16th and for the past week Iβve been having lightheaded/woozy feelings without losing balance. Theyβre happening frequently throughout the day too. This is causing me anxiety because I donβt know whatβs going on. I was wondering if maybe itβs withdrawal but I wasnβt drinking that much to begin with. I βcalmed downβ quite a bit prior to my quitting and was drinking 1-3 drinks or not at all some days. I have checked my blood sugar and blood pressure and theyβre both fine.
Do βlightβ drinkers experience PAWs or is that only for the heavy drinkers who quit?
Edit: I do have an appointment scheduled as well.
So,
I've been cycling for a few years. Every once in a while, I get lightheaded after a hard ride. Seems like heat and cold seem to do it to me, as well as possibly lack of a good cool down.
I had been cycling 10 hours a week, pretty hard, but had to take a month off because of some bad viruses, work stuff, family stuff. Also, now I'm riding indoors instead of outside because of the winter.
I just am getting back into it and on two of the three rides I had, I got a little lightheaded afterwards. Not to the point I thought I was going to pass out. Just a little kind of out of it feeling. I can't figure out the cause but I have some thoughts.
It's hotter and there is less wind on me. I'm drinking the same amount of water I do when riding outside in the cold. I'm not in as good of shape and trying to do the same workouts I was doing one month ago. Do those sound like reasonable causes?
Suggestions on how to get back into it? Anyone gotten lightheaded? What did you do to improve it?
Does anyone else deal with this as their worst symptom? I have some minor fatigue, racing heart upon standing of course (BP is stable), and some pain/cracking in my upper neck and middle back. Only occasional headaches, GI issues, body tingling, and joint pain. Weirdly I hiccup every time I eat or drink anything. Life would be much easier without the lightheaded dreaminess that seems constantβeven when i take medications, up the water intake, and exercise.
Is there anything you guys have done to help this symptom? It is what led me to finding POTS online and eventually being diagnosed (not hyperadrenergic POTS.)
No underlying cause has been found for me yetβno virus, no autoimmune disease, no EDS, nothing. It just happened suddenly and I wonder if this primary symptom could be a clue to whatβs causing my issues? Please let me know. :(
I'm wanting to get a better understanding of what's going on with me since my doctor is all out of ideas after doing a full workup. If it wasn't for the fact that my doctors don't know what to do with me from here, I wouldn't be asking reddit for advice, but here I am. Everything we've ruled out is Diabetes, Hypoglycemia, Thyroid issues, Anemia, Adrenal Issues, did an endoscopy, celiac, h- pilori, IBS, gastritis, hyperlipidemia, vitamin d deficiency, electrolyte levels, kidney/liver disease, and heart issues.
I think I might have GERD, but I don't know if it would cause lightheadedness / dizziness. I also have other stuff that you would think would make GERD worse, but in fact helps (such as wearing a corset or something else very tightly around the waist or holding a pillow to my stomach helps ease the stomach pain, and chewing gum makes things much worse even though articles online say the saliva formed helps ease symptoms)
The thing is, my understanding of heartburn has been that it's like an isolated symptom of the burning feeling up your esophagus, and it wouldn't trigger lightheadedness / dizziness. It seems like avoiding certain triggers does seem to help, like I had to stop eating spaghetti and meatballs because of the high carb pasta and the acidity from the tomatoes.
I deal with frequent hunger that feels like a sharp/acidic gnawing pain behind my sternum that makes me want to curl into a ball/guard my stomach, I get gurgling in the back of my throat and the nerves down my arms to my fingers start buzzing. Smoking weed also makes this acidic feeling / lightheadedness much worse and lead to me fainting at one point so I ended up having to unfortunately stop smoking weed. Does this happen for y'all too? Like, you can't let yourself get hungry or your stomach gets really acidic?
These symptoms get worse when I eat something loaded with carbs like candy or fruit or a bagel. I even have troubles with eating a salad on an empty stomach.
They get better when I make sure to eat something low carb + protein filled with some fats, like chicken and brussel sprouts. Or if I eat a massive amount at one point, like a chipotle burrito bowl will keep the symptoms at bay for a few hours. I can't go more than a couple of hours without eating unless I eat a giant portion, and even then depending on what I eat like if it's a bread / berries / nuts / cheese charcuterie board I will need to eat something in like 30 minutes.
I'm just not sure what to do, be
... keep reading on reddit β‘The past year or so has been pretty anxious and stressful for me, I've also began to develop depression and insomnia, waking up early, too. But now it's better. I've got silent LPR too. I've always had GAD. My fibro symptoms are just muscle burning easily sensation doing any small kinds of motion. Along with the other symptoms mentioned in the title, I get chest pains, left arm aches. When I'm super happy, the symptoms are there, but they're mild. What do you guys think? I'm tired... sigh. Thanks yall. I have had all sorts of tests done, doctor can't find anything.
I got my vacuum bell on christmas eve and have been using it every day since. I wanted to start out slowly so i guess i used little pressure and didnβt see much results but i increased it each time. Today was the first day i lifted it fully to become flat but i think i went too far as i didnβt stop pumping till the very end although it had long become flat. a minute after i took it off i felt really bad and found it hard to breathe and stand straight. Has anyone experienced this before and was it because i pumped till the very end? when am i meant to stop- as soon as my chest is completely flat? and should i take a few days off bc i am worried about having a heart attack or anything
Also i didnβt want to press on it but my lifted chest looked really soft and like liquid. Is that normal at the start
My vacuum bell is from pectus healing by the way
Dear doctors of Reddit, Iβd like to present this in 3 parts:
The first time it happened was in my sophomore year of college, I was watching Monty Python, and laughed so hard that I briefly passed out and found myself on the floor instead of in my chair. Since then, I have often felt lightheaded when I cough or laugh extremely hard, and passed out a couple more times. Never passed out for longer than a few seconds.
A little about myself: Iβm a man in my mid-20s, 6 ft tall and about 300 lb (working to get that down). I take concerta (72 mg split into two 36 mg, one at breakfast and one at lunch) for ADHD, escitalopram (10 mg) for depression, and lisinopril (40 mg) for high blood pressure. This problem did start around the time I started the blood pressure medicine, but I donβt remember if it happened before or after. Iβm not sure if taking a lower dose of that would help either.
The reason Iβm so keen to get this taken care of now is because of the fainting that happened today. Before I begin, I am safe and unhurt now, if a little shaken.
I was driving, awake and alert, and took a sip from my frozen Dunkinβ Donuts drink (donβt judge me for enjoying a frozen drink in winter). It βwent down the wrong pipeβ as my mother would say, and I started coughing hard for a few seconds. The next thing I remember is feeling like I was dreaming, and then waking up from said dream. Then I became aware that I was in my car, and that someone outside the car was asking if I needed help. I then realized that my car was on its side in a ditch, and I was going to be late for work.
I donβt quite remember what happened, but im assuming that I coughed hard enough that I passed out, and the car drifted off the road. Once again, I couldnβt have been passed out for more than a few moments, because I remember the same song was playing on the radio when I woke up. The rest of my day went normally, aside from me being a bit nervous to drive again.
As I said, I wasnβt hurt, and thank goodness no one else was. The car wasnβt badly damaged. But it couldβve been a lot worse, if I had been going faster or if the road had been busier.
The question I have is, what kind of doctor should I see about this? Is there s
... keep reading on reddit β‘Hello! So about 7 weeks ago, I suffered a miscarriage at about 10 weeks. It happened at home suddenly. Fast forward 7 weeks and the bleeding although almost stopped, still continues. I had an ultrasound that confirms that I still have products of conception remaining and a hcg of 12. About 2-3 weeks ago (so 4 weeks post miscarriage) I began to have crazy debilitating lightheadedness that has prevented me from working, driving, or otherwise living a normal life. I have been to the er 3 times. All my levels are good, including iron and no sign of infection. I thought maybe anxiety so I consulted with a psychiatrist but the anxiety meds bring no relief to the lightheadedness either. I start the medication tomorrow to start contractions to hopefully expel whatever products remain. Anyways, my question is has anyone ever had this happen? I need there to be light at the end of this tunnel. I need my life back.
Tldr: Anyone ever experience sever lightheadedness many weeks post miscarriage with no detectable cause?
I went to the ER late Monday night because it was a choice between sleeping off extreme dizziness among other symptoms or go somewhere. Went to the ER. Had a vasovagal syncope episode but the cardiologist and basically everyone else said it didn't seem too serious because my EKG was fine for 6+ hours.
Flash forward to this week. Been having little episodes of lightheadedness, dizziness, confusion, sometimes short breaths, etc. Ive been told a few times this all is anxiety related but ive never gone to a therapist or psychologist or anything. I took 1mg of my moms lorazepam she gave me and it seemed to calm me down the one time I tried it.
Anyone else have experience with these symptoms from anxiety? I'm hoping its anxiety and not brain related. Ive had quite a lot of heart tests (echo, 3 halters, stress test) and they all came out fine.
Does anyone here experience dizziness or lightheadedness as a result of a pituitary tumor? For years, since 2013, I have periods of being lightheaded but with multiple tests and MRIs, the only thing found was this tumor and suspected vertigo. I have seen internal medicine physician, endocrinologist and neurologist. I started taking cabergoline in 2018 or 2019, so I know itβs not a side effect of the medicine. Hoping that maybe someone here might have a similar experience and have found help for this. Thanks!
I bought the game last night on Xbox and upon trying it.. I felt near immediately felt something was off when I started walking around. I read this game triggered things like motion sickness in some people but I didn't think it'd affect me. The FoV feels very low and I feel like a lot of it could be fixed if I could adjust it, but I can't on console. I tried turning off a ton of settings including Lens Flare, Motion Blur, Film Grain, Additive Camera Motions, etc. I turned on the center dot, which admittedly helped if I stared at it while walking around but I lose a lot of environmental awareness. I adjusted the gamma and turning settings, but I just couldn't look at the screen for very long before feeling eye strain and a dizzy sensation.
When I walked into the club, I just had to shut the game down. I sent in a refund request. I hope I can attempt to pick this up again someday at an even cheaper cost and with better settings. This is the first time I've ever experienced something like this and I've played a ton of games for 15+ years.
Anyone else have suggestions or experienced this? I am befuddled by it and I'm not entirely sure what was wrong.
My allergist says he can dilute my doses, but both experiences were so scary, that I think Iβm going to pass. Anyone else have bad reactions to their allergy shots from the start?
Edit: i did eat beforehand and take a Zyrtec about an hour before the shots, both times. Reactions lasted 30+ min each. The allergy shots are cluster shots (two in one arm, one in the other arm).
I've been experiencing lightheadedness while working out recently which is impeding my progress. I'll do a few sets and then have to sit down for 10 minutes before i'm able to do the next set or quit the workout completely and lie down.
At first i thought it's because i'm working out in a relatively small home gym so there's not enough oxygen while working out, even though the window is always cracked, but then i experienced the same symptoms while working out at the park so that couldn't be the issue.
Is it maybe because of CNS strain? Is it because of underdeveloped endurance?
I'm an advanced lifter with close to 5 years of experience and i have proper breathing technique. Does anyone have any insight? Thanks!
These symptoms also sometimes occur after Iβve been laying down for awhile. I thought that this was normal but I just asked my mom and sheβs never experienced it. My geneticist believes I have hEDS. Is this normal, or something related to hEDS?
Is lightheadedness from activity always a symptom from blood pressure changes? I get lightheaded if I do pretty much any physical activity. even from just talking and especially singing can make me feel completely light headed and disoriented. And especially if I do anything while bent over. But whenever I take my blood pressure it seems to be Normal. Could something else be causing it and is there any solution to this problem?
I am newly diagnosed with hypothyroidism. I started 25 mg levothyroxine Saturday morning according to instructions - nothing else other than water for an hour. I felt good the first day, better Sunday, great Monday, and wonderful Tuesday. Tuesday night I had a little shooting pain in the side of my chest and all day Wednesday I felt awful. Diarrhea, nausea, lightheadedness, and slight dizzy spells. My doctor advised I stop taking the medicine and I go see her tomorrow. My stomach hasnβt felt as bad as I did on Wednesday but Iβm still not myself. Iβm still feeling the lightheadedness and dizzy spells, general fatigue and grumpiness.
Anyone have any experience with this or similar?
Updating to say my TSI was 307, thyroid peroxidase antibodies 60, T4 T3 and TSH were all normal in my lab work. I believe my doctor said the antibodies were the hypo indicator?
Hey everyone, i was diagnosed with costo a couple months ago and everything seems to line up with symptoms and everything.
The only thing i dont under stand is that i get light headed sometimes when i feel the inflammation/pain. And its not like stand up light headed almost a heavier lightheadedness. I think its probably because i get super anxious when i feel it because its right where my heart is so its uncomfortable.
Just wondering if anyone else feels light headed sometimes with costo.
Thank you in advance.
I know the question seems pretty straightforward but the feeling I experience is weird. It feels like hitting the refresh button on an internet browser but the only difference is that I feel the "refresh" in the mind and afterwards my body feels in synch or connected.
I usually experience this feeling prior to exercising when I'm stretching. It usually happens when theres a build of pressure in my body and I haven't exhaled yet. Once my body forces itself to exhale, I feel the lightheadedness and mind feels more awake.
Can someone ELI5 what is taking place
Disclaimer: I'm not a doctor and this is my personal explanation based on careful observations and thorough research.
People use many names to refer to it: Vertigo, Lightheadedness, Dizziness, Feeling drunk, Off balance, Dizzy spells, Woozy feeling, Wobbly feeling, Unsteadiness, Standing on boat feeling, Waterbed feeling, Head spinning... etc.
It shall be noted, however, that vertigo and dizziness are essentially different. Vertigo is when the room/environment feels like it's spinning whereas lightheadedness is when the room is not spinning but you feel unbalanced.
It was also on the news when a celebrity who have had covid shared it on instagram:
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.yahoo.com/amphtml/lifestyle/teddi-mellencamp-vertigo-covid-19-symptom-explained-170950823.html
So, I had covid on first week of June and have been suffering this every single day. I also posted about it on this sub numerous times. It's so random and unpredictable. However, I noticed it mostly happens after eating or having a bowel movement. This has been my worst LH symptom by a long shot.
For me, at least, it wasn't: Low oxygen (hypoxia), Ear problem liken infection or inflammation, Heart problem, Iron deficiency, Brain stroke, Blood clots, Anemia, Dehydration, Low electrolytes, Low blood sugar (hypoglycemia), Brain inflammation, Hypothyroid, Thyroid antibodies, Or Low cortisol.
This is my explanation (IANAD): It mostly happens to people with bad GI symptoms during acute covid infection. When we eat or have bowel movement, most of the blood in the body goes to the disgestive system (i.e bowels) and this lowers blood pressure and makes dizziness/vertigo worse because less blood is available to the brain/cerebellum, which is responsible for maintaining body balance through the vestibular nerve. I had worn a pressure monitoring device for 24 hours and noted that it happens when my BP drops from normal 120/80 to something like < 100 / < 60. It was mostly the Diastolic BP that got so low.
So, my best guess is that covid had damaged ACE2 receptors (Sars-Cov-2 virus uses them to gain entry to cells) located on endothelial cells, which line the digestive tract and blood vessels. The ACE2 receptors are responsible for controlling body's blood pressure.
NCBI: "Apart from its role as a receptor for SARS-CoV-2 (and for both the SARS-CoV and the related human respiratory coronavirus NL63), ACE2 is well-known for its role in hypertension. ACE2Β modulates blood pressureΒ and maint
