A list of puns related to "Kirkland Lake"
Hello, I am a twenty year old who's just moved to Timiskaming a few months ago. I live a small distance away from Kirkland Lake and I'm extremely lonely. Due to a lot of personal reasons, I feel isolated and alone, especially since I don't know anyone from outside my family.
I don't know if this is the right place to ask for this sort of thing, but does anybody feel like being friends?
Edit: I appreciate every offer to be online friends with me and I don't mean to sound ungrateful for them, but in-person friends is what my mental health needs. I'm currently living in a very troublesome situation involving social isolation and there seems to be no way of escaping it anytime soon.
G'day! I'm considering moving to Kirkland Lake. What should I know?
I've visited a few times (in summer and winter), but I'm sure there's lots more to learn. Are there any locals here who can share what it's like to live in KL?
No idea what this is, but you can follow along here:

Sept 28 (Reuters) - Canada's Agnico Eagle Mines Ltd is buying rival Kirkland Lake Gold Ltd in a stock deal valued at C$13.51 billion ($10.68 billion).
Kirkland Lake Gold shareholders will receive 0.7935 of an Agnico Eagle common share for each stock they hold, the two companies said on Tuesday. The deal values each Kirkland share at C$50.63, or a discount of 9% to the stock's Monday close, according to Reuters' calculation.
Upon closing of the merger, Agnico is expected to have $2.3 billion of available liquidity, a mineral reserve base of 48 million ounces of gold (969 million tonnes at 1.53 grams per tonne) and a pipeline of development and exploration projects.
Agnico Eagle shareholders will own about 54% of the combined company, while those of Kirkland Lake will have a 46% ownership. ($1 = 1.2652 Canadian dollars) (Reporting by Sahil Shaw in Bengaluru; Editing by Anil D'Silva)

They just added a new 10 million ounces to what was a 4 million ounce reserve. This qualifies as a legitimate entry in the "go big or go home" category.

Will be interesting to see what the markets do with it.
I must confess, I was not a fan of the Detour purchase. I thought it would turn out to be an albatross around their neck. On the contrary, they have unlocked a massive amount of value in a short period of time. There are some geologists in Kirkland Lake who have already justified many times over the income that they will get all the way to retirement.
I'm riding along, bike's headlight is on, eye contact's made, and yet he flings open his door. I'm thinking he's a dick rather than a doofus although I'm sure not all Porsche SUV owners in Kirkland are dicks...?
