A list of puns related to "Kildeer"
There are some shorebird types at my barn in central Alabama USA. Plover/ sandpiper types. They're mostly active at dusk so it's hard to get a good look at them. Two black neck rings, tan dorsal side, white ventral side, black stripes on wings.
However the neck rings are thin and close together, rather than thick and far apart in most of the kildeer pictures I have found. The call doesn't match Audobon or All About Birds either. It's more of a rapid, high pitched twittering.
