A list of puns related to "Yorkville"
I am an international student from Pakistan. So I am about to start my HND level 5 in business, which is equivalent to= first 2 years of UK undergraduate degree, I plan to move to Canada after completing my HND and pursue bachelors in Ontario. After I started looking into universities in Ontario and their credit transfer structures, emailing about 40+ universities. I realized, some universities will provide a direct answer on how many credits they can transfer towards my degree and some will insist on submitting my application before they can tell me anything. So I got an email reply from Yorkville and I was told, I would be able to transfer 60 credits and the other 60 I would need to complete with them to get the degree from Yorkville. They offer accelerated degrees, so I would be able to complete my bachelors in just a litter over a year. They offered me 10k bursary as well, so I will be paying 25k Cad for total tution fees for my degree. After doing some research I came to realized, they are also ranked extremely low on webometrics as well as a private university. I could not find any of their graduates online as well, now I am not sure if employers will actually respect My BBA from Yorkville and hire me, or Yorkville is just a diploma mill but accredited by the government.
Thanks guys.
Please advice!
Asking for a friend who's visiting from the Boston with her husband, and she usually does some shopping whenever she visits a new city. She actually said she was looking for Boho styles (I had to look that up). When we were kids we used to love Queen West, but not sure that area is what it used to be for the independent stores selling vintage clothing. I just haven't really gone out of my way to look for these things lately. I am a pleb that shops at Old Navy and only when I need new pants, and since we are all working from home, I haven't needed pants in a few years lol. Sure I could get my answers at BlogTO... but I figure you are all much better informed ha!
Hey everyone I need some advice,
Iβve been accepted into both schools for graduate studies and need help deciding which one to choose.
Both programs are reputable and alumni have great things to say about them.
However, hereβs the dilemma:
York University requires us to be on campus and I would have to quit my good paying job and move to Toronto BUT since itβs a public university its ALOT CHEAPER
Yorkville University gives us an online option and I would be able to keep my job and wouldnβt have to move but since itβs a private university its EXPENSIVE
Both would get me the same job at the end and the place I want to work at has alumni from both. Both programs are respected in the field. I know some people bash on private universities in general but I donβt care about that, Iβm more concerned about the cost and potentially having to quit my job and relocate. Which should I choose? I canβt decide!
Hopefully this takes off and we can get some good community networking going.
I work in Yorkville and have been eating the same Freshii meal for months lol. I used to love Cali Love but it just shut down :( I've also had Kupfert and Kim but it's not that great, any hidden gems? Let me know!
Hi All,
With 33 Yorkville recently launching at $2100 psf, I was wondering what your thoughts on 155 Yorkville.
Why is that building relatively cheap, and what would be some risks purchasing a unit there?
Assuming prices do reach $2100 psf in 2027, I suspect it would be 15%+ cheaper due to the older age, but it's still in a prime location, and the size of the studio would be larger than any new buildings in the area.
I heard there are lots of Airbnb's in the unit, but I don't think the tenant quality would be an issue for 155 Yorkville.
Would it be a smart move to purchase 155 Yorkville now, instead of waiting 7 years for 33Y? I have the ability to get a mortgage now and I have around ~120K.
Thanks for your input.
Yorkville is a Canadian musical equipment FYI, so they are not too well discussed online but aren't not established from my understanding.
My purpose for this amp would be for eventual gigging in clubs one day. I imagine any larger venue, should that happen, the bass amp would essentially become a monitor and have the parallel output used into the PA or whatever.
Regardless, focusing on the now, my understanding is that the head is capable of providing 400W power but the combo is a 200W 15" speaker. Am i understanding this correctly?

This system was hooked up with 5 yorkville tx4βs and yorkville subwoofers hooked up to 2 amps. At some point or another the amps failed. I did not set these up someone else did and they have been sitting for nearly 2 years: we have another system upstairs and I wanted to test the speakers because Iβm a noob.
Took them up stairs and connected them they seemed to sound great along side the other system. Meaning I probably couldnβt tell they were muddy at the time.
After some research I realize they need a tx4p processor and as much as Iβd like to find one for a reasonable price none are currently for sale.
So in the mean time Iβm trying to setup this system with 2 tx4βs and one yorkville dub (I keep saying that cause Iβm unsure the model number) last night with some help from a sound guy we got it up and running and sounding better. But there is no highs at all. Itβs mid-low.
Using 2 amps 1 adj-v3000 and 1 crown k2-2. The adj has a sub filter so thatβs powering the subs bridged in parallel and the k2-2 is running full range to the tx4βs in bridge mode in parallel.
I read the manual and found these definitely need a processor.
I do have an equalizer that I think used to be used in place of the processor would that also be efficient? Itβs a white electronics equalizer.
Hopefully this is more helpful. Iβd like to utilize this system but without know exactly how it was hooked up Iβm needing to learn it all which is fine but hoping someone else has used these speakers and has some knowledge to share.
The other thing is on the back of the tx4βs thereβs a label that says pinout +-1 is for mid low and pinout +-2 is for highs. Would this change the highs for me?
Hi,
I am an international student currently going through their second year at Yorkville University in their BBA progam in project management. For now I am mainly doing my studies online. Anyways, for some reasons today I got curious regarding the "actual" worth of the degree that I was pursuing and I was shocked and honestly scared of the reviews that I found. Most, deemed the university to generally be a bad place for students to go to. Initially, when applying I knew that it was not the most reputed but I still went with it, hoping that I would at least get some chance with it to later down the line transfer to another more reputed university once my GPA would be high enough (I was really bad in high school and was in a rush to search for a university that would accept me). Long story short, I now have a 3.8 GPA with mostly A's but I honestly don't know if my "grades" have any worth. I am legetimally scared and feel stupid for potentially throwing money to a program that will potentially be worthless both, in the academic world and job market.
I don't really know what my goal is with this post. I guess I am looking for some ways to either kill my doubt or reinforce them; maybe even, some university recommendations for me to go towards while I still can. I'll probably also try to repost this wherever I can so that I can get the most amoint of tips.
Anyways, help?
I want to put smaller keyboards (ex: BSii/mpc one/minibrute/microfreak) on the top two tiers but I wonβt be able to use the double braced if I angle them inwards. Will it be safe to put smaller keyboards on the top two tiers without support beam? Itβs a yorkville deluxe three tier stand
This occurred about 11am this morning, in the middle of Bloor Street between Yonge and Bay. Two cars ahead of me, the male driver stopped dead in the middle of traffic, got out and went around the passenger side of his car, pulled the female passenger out of the car and attacked her in the road. Because the car in front of me panicked (understandably) and started backing up, I had to dodge out into a laneway to avoid collision. Found a nearby police officer a few minutes later and reported the incident, but I'm really hoping that the woman is safe. Can anyone else who saw this incident confirm, or share any other details about what happened?
Just wanted to know your views in general.
