Anyone else wants to do straight line missions?

I think that that can be a great challenge for people, well probably in smaller scale (distance). I've been constantly looking for some lines in my country and in the region. I've come across this line in Slovenia, between Italy and Croatia, lenght is around 15 kilometres. The line doesn't cross any mayor road (highway is in the tunnel), no houses or enclosed gardens. The area is a karst plateau, half forrest, half grassland, downhill/uphill all the time and no rivers to cross. There is a possibility of "holes" in the gound or small caves. Points on both ends are quite easily reachable.

I wonder if anyone else wants to do any other line across the country, I'll be interested in seeing plans for that.

>facing the demonic forces of Lomar’s personal army, the party crept their way to the home of the mage himself, breaking in under the cover of a siege weapon barrage

>engaging the guards, the party slew enemy after enemy until finally, they came face to face with their foe, only to have him slip between their fingertips

The 7 main plateaus and lowlands of southern Indiana are so diverse and different!

southern indiana south of the glacial boundary is made up of seven main plateaus and lowlands that are surprisingly diverse!!

First you have your wabash lowland and scotssburg lowland which are basiclally just as flat as glaciated indiana. But they give a nice contrast with the bordering upland plateaus!

Then you have the crawford upland (west of bloomington) and the norman upland(east of bloomington). these are the two most rugged plateaus in southern indiana( the least amount of flat open land). while they may seem the same the crawford upland west of bloomington and the norman upland east of bloomington are very different. The norman upland is siltstone and is a little more rugged than the sandstone crawford upland. Notice west of bloomington is very forested but not as deeply forested as east! While the norman upland east of bloomington is more rugged it is not clifty at all! Show me a natural cliff in brown county more than a few feet high? You wont find one. whereas the crawford upland west of bloomington is clifty. Many clifts and little canyons west of town.

Then you have your mitchell plain (the plateau bloomingon sits on) and the dearborn upland out east by cincinatti. these are higher and hillier than the two lowlands but much less rugged than the crawford and norman uplands. These two uplands are mostly flat to gently rolling plain except where rivers dissect deep valleys. the mitchell plain is the only plateau of southern indiana with limestone and therefore karst topography (caves). There are no caves in brown county in the norman upland! Or in the crawford! the mitchell plain is very flat in many areas but where the valleys do dissect into the plateau it is clifty! Mccormicks creek canyon is in the mitchell plain! The dearborn upland is like the mitchell plain but no caves and not clifty (i dont believe). But it seems to have a lot more dissected valleys than the mitchell plain and in the areas between the valleys seems to be flatter than the mitchell plain!

In summary: Wabash and Scottsburg lowland= flat lowland plain

Crawford and Norman upland= most rugged, most forested. norman more rugged than crawford. but crawford clifty while norman no natural cliffs or canyons.

Mitchell plain and dearborn upland=much flatter and less rugged than the crawford and norman except where river valleys entrench into the plateau. Mitchell only plateau with caves. Dearborn like mitchell plain but deeper valleys and no caves.

Liyue's REAL IN LORE SIZE: Debunked!

(Hope this is the right flair, lol)

That's right! For months, we have been fooled into contentment with the poor excuse of a "map" Mihoyo has given us in-game. From omitting major rural areas to the distinct lack of non-Major City settlements, it's probably glaringly obvious that the in-game map is far from scale and accurate to the in-lore world. Of course, that begs the question: What would Genshin's real-world map size be?

Well, today, I'm going to answer that, but a little bit less and a little bit more. I haven't quite looked into Mondstadt and Inazuma yet, but strap in your seatbelts everyone, because today, we debunk Liyue and all of its hidden features with one of the greatest forces of all: Estimation.

(And math. A shit ton of math.)

DISCLAIMER: Moth of this math and measurements are done in miles as it is what the game gives us the numbers in. I absolutely despise this as a firm believer in the metric system, so I'll provide metric system numbers when I can, but know that I am dying inside with all of this mileage.

Part 1: Liyue, Teyvat's Pocket-Sized Economical Center

First, it is actually impossible to find Liyue's actual size with any of the in-game material, due to the glaring lack of information for the overall size and unreliable in-game distance calculator (as it only calculates your in-game distance, not the lore-based one). That being said, however, we can damn sure estimate.

We'll do this by estimating a historical location. Or, well, really, an ancient civilization: the Guili Assembly. We know that the assembly was extremely prosperous, protected by two gods and a whole buttload of Adepti, and considering that they were big enough to emerge victorious from the Archon War in their region, it's reasonable to assume that they took up the majority of modern Liyue's area, although not enough to be the entire area (For example, we exclude the Salt God's settlements, Osial's area, Zhongli's people's old settlements, etc.). Thus, due to the abundance of other gods with their own domains, but are much weaker than the Guili Assembly, I feel that it's reasonable to assume the Guili Assembly's historic borders would've stretched to cover anywhere from 1/3 to 1/2 of modern Liyue.

Next, we estimate Guili Assembly's size. According to in-game documentation (you can find this all on a very handy place called the Genshin Wiki! I'm much too tired to link all of the sources, sorry), the Guili Assembly was said to have spanned 1000 mil

SERIOUS: This subreddit needs to understand what a "dad joke" really means.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.

Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

Just because it's a joke, doesn't mean it's a dad joke

Alot of great jokes get posted here! However just because you have a joke, doesn't mean it's a dad joke.

THIS IS NOT ABOUT NSFW, THIS IS ABOUT LONG JOKES, BLONDE JOKES, SEXUAL JOKES, KNOCK KNOCK JOKES, POLITICAL JOKES, ETC BEING POSTED IN A DAD JOKE SUB

Try telling these sexual jokes that get posted here, to your kid and see how your spouse likes it.. if that goes well, Try telling one of your friends kid about your sex life being like Coca cola, first it was normal, than light and now zero , and see if the parents are OK with you telling their kid the "dad joke"

I'm not even referencing the NSFW, I'm saying Dad jokes are corny, and sometimes painful, not sexual

So check out r/jokes for all types of jokes

r/unclejokes for dirty jokes

r/3amjokes for real weird and alot of OC

r/cleandadjokes If your really sick of seeing not dad jokes in r/dadjokes

Edit: this is not a post about NSFW , This is about jokes, knock knock jokes, blonde jokes, political jokes etc being posted in a dad joke sub
