A list of puns related to "John Ross"
I have a word file with points for every potential suspect and it occurred to me that virtually nothing is known about John Ross despite him being semi prominent in every episode.
He's always in the background, doing nothing particularly notable, yet he's always there. In two scenes especially, when Kenny is crying after being told about Erin's body being found and the scene where he's in bed watching the news about the three girls who were murdered/abducted, he has a strange, almost predatory look on his face. It's too subtle to be noticed from first or even second glance. It's also notable that he never once displayed emotions.

Frank claims to have been brought home by John the night of the murder at 2 am. Yet the only source of this information is John himself as Frank was too drunk (pissing in the closet drunk) to know the actual time. From the photo John took of Frank, he appears to have left him passed out on the sofa. Even in the interrogation, Frank uses John Ross not his fiance as his alibi. Indicating that Faye was asleep and was not woken up when Frank was brought home.
All of this suggests the possibility that John could have brought Frank home an hour earlier, leaving a one-hour window During Erin's estimated TOD for which he cannot account for.
In addition, and maybe this is a stretch, Ryan Ross could have come across something by accident which implicates his dad. He might confess to his mom about it and this could be the thing which Lori tells Mare she didn't know about.
Remember when John has an attitude with Mare at the BBQ about questioning Frank and then he offers up the alibi? Why would he be driving Frank home? Werenβt they celebrating AT Frankβs house? Or are we to believe they went to a tavern or something afterwards?
Reasons for picking John Ross- Having broken the Combine record by running a 4.22 40-yard dash, John Rossβs signature feature coming out of college was speed. At Washington, he played both WR and kick returner, and was named the 2016 AP Pac-12 Player of the Year, all while playing with a torn labrum that would later require surgery after the Combine. He was selected by a Bengals team that, while also needing plenty of help on defense, wanted a replacement for the losses of Mohamed Sanu and Marvin Jones Jr.
However, Rossβs rookie season went as disastrous as one can go- His only carry of the season was a fumble, and he would miss time with knee and shoulder injuries, while also being made a healthy scratch for a number of games, before being put on injured reserve in December. 2018 showed a slight improvement, as Ross tied for the team lead in touchdowns (7), but still struggled to consistently get on the field, finishing with just 21 receptions for 210 yards while missing time with a groin injury. 2019 started better, with Ross accumulating over 100 yards in each of his first two games. However, he did little after that, struggling with drops and later going back on injured reserve with a clavicle fracture. 2020 saw the Bengals draft Rossβs replacement in Tee Higgins, and Ross would soon find himself on the bench, expressing his displeasure by publicly demanding a trade. No trade would happen, but Rossβs fate in Cincinnati was officially sealed. He is currently signed with the Giants on a 1-year, $2.5 million deal.
Do you think the PC release of days gone is a last ditch attempt at securing Sonyβs support for a sequel with its potential success? They all seemed so hopeful for a sequel a year ago, Jeff Ross even said βstay tunedβ on Twitter to a fan that asked about a sequel about a year ago, but now theyβre both gone? Why did they leave? So many questions.
-Pearson has a photo of the gang hanging up in the store at Rhodes. When John encounters Pearson at the store he asks John about Beecher's Hope and says he's gonna send a letter he never did send. I could be wrong about that but I never got the letter.
-the gang shot up the town and caused all kinds of trouble in Rhodes and there's no way someone didn't question Pearson on why he has that photo hanging up.
-I'm sure at some point Ross and Fordham eventually got word of this and questioned Pearson and maybe even threatened him to confirm John's identity and location or else.
(A remaster of the first game could really fix the story's continuity)
