A list of puns related to "John Ross"
John is definitely cheating again with home wrecker Helen.
Does John Ross's behavior make any sense? I don't take this guy as a sociopath, but he's unbelievably cool and calm all the time. He even complains to Mare about the DNA test with Frank. I don't really get the character. I'm not sure if I'm missing stuff or it's just poor writing. Then again, people with psychopathy/sociopathy or various personality disorders can be quite the charmers and manipulators. I just don't see it though. Currently rewatching.
- Erin gets cat-fished and then assaulted by Brianna
- Siobhan interferes and offers Erin to take her home
- Erin refuses the offer and walks off
- After Dylan humiliated her by disclosing her text message and standing by when Brianna beat her up, Erin knows that she will never get Dylan back. She is deperate and angry, because she knows Dylan has the money to pay for the surgery.
- She is committed to force Dylan's hand. She knows that Dylan and his buddy are dealing or buying drugs at Brandywine Park on Friday nights (between 1am and 2am). She concocts the plan to confront Dylan (who likely will have money on him) there, but she needs the help of someone.
- She either runs into her cousin Billy at the park or walks over to his place, which is near the park. After Billy hears what happened, he tells Erin to go home and he will go meet up with Dylan (possibly under the disguise of a drug deal).
- Erin sees Billy grabbing a gun and gets worried.
- After Billy drives off, Erin calls deacon Mark and asks him for help.
- After Mark picks her up at the park, Erin commandeers him to drive her to Brandywine Park, where she runs off without her bike. Mark in a panic drives off, with the bike still in his trunk.
- At Brandywine Park, Erin intercepts Billy and Dylan who are in a heated argument, with Billy possibly threatening Dylan with the gun.
- Erin runs to them to keep them from fighting. A scuffle occurs, the gun goes off, the bullet hits Erin's hand and forehead, severing her digit and causing a fatal head wound. The bullet ricochets and lodges in a tree.
- Dylan and his buddy flee the scene, while Billy desperately tries to save Erin.
- When it is clear that Erin is beyond saving, Billy calls John, who tells Billy to hide the body and stay put.
- John jumps in his car and drives to Brandywine Park to help Billy cover up the crime and dump Erin's body somewhere else.
- As John returns home, he is confronted by Ryan, who possibly overheard the phone call and heard John mention Erin's name. John makes Ryan swear that he has to keep it a secret.
- Ryan is distraught by all this and hardly gets any sleep (explaining why he is so tired in the morning).
- John, who is known as a serial philanderer, had an affair with Rachel (Kenny's late wife) 17 years ago (possibly before he married Lori) and is the biological father of Erin.

... keep reading on reddit β‘"Particularly in the past I was horrified to find out how some journalists in Chinese international communications in fact accepted an anti-CPC framework β supporting Western ideas of the superiority of the Western political system, supporting capitalism and not socialism etc.
Such an acceptance of false Western framework is fatal not only for judging the international significance of the CPC but for international communication.
The most elementary rule of any mass propaganda, agitation or communication, for example an election campaign of which I have had numerous experiences, is that the side which sets the terms of the debate wins the election. So the first and most fundamental struggle is to establish the terms of the debate. If Chinaβs international communication accepts the framework or Western analysis, such as Western fake definitions of βhuman rightsβ, then Chinaβs defeat in international communication is inevitable.
It is therefore vital to construct Chinaβs own discourse and narrative, interpreting Chinaβs practices by its own theories which are far more objective, realistic and more correspond to reality than those of the West.
China, in communicating with the majority of the worldβs population, cannot base itself on a socialist system β as this does not yet exist in most countries. Therefore, Chinaβs international communication, in order to affect the mass of the population, has to be expressed not only in Marxist but in non-Marxist terms. This is why, for example, it is necessary in international communication to explain Chinaβs gigantic social and economic achievements in precise factual terms β the masses outside China will not respond to abstract Marxism but they will understand Chinaβs concrete achievements."

Hi,
This is just what I happened to interpret the events in Mare of Easttown so far into Eps06. I think a lot of the audiences have fallen into the trap made by the creator of the show. So far, we have overwhelming audiences response on the suspicion of John/Billy Ross and various other characters. There are many times the director try to loop everyone into thinking all characters have deeper motive to be a killer and acting suspiciously. In reality, this is all of a rouse to keep the real narrative that hidden in plain sight. There is no evil genius, mastermind who planed a murder and its cover up. The story of the series is really about the interpersonal relations between small group of people, and how it snow balled into a catastrophic event (the death of Erin).
My theory is based on a lot of assumptions, but please hear me out on this one. We have some bad characters on this show, but none of these bad characters have exemplify any traits of evil. The only real evil character in the show, Wayne Potts, who has no links to any of the main characters and only receive 15 mins of screen time.
Let's look at some of the bad characters in the show and see what they do. Dylan's worst action is to threaten Jessie with his gun and sell illegal street narcotics. Despite some of the tricks director try to confuse us, when he faces DJ he doesn't have that sorta of evil killer in him. He's a rather genuine, decent human being.
We also have Freddie, who often steals cash from his family and neighbors. His worst action is to blackmail Dawn for money. And when that plan failed, he even apologized to Dawn while fleeting the scene.
I believe the show is trying to tell a story about how small things/events accumulate into a catastrophic event. Most of the townspeople are good, but they are capable of doing bad things. Mare is the main character and she is willing to frame her daughter in law for custody of Drew. Dawn is willing to steal from her work in order to rescue her daughter. At the end of the day, we have these small town folks who are committed to one another. When something goes wrong they feel guilty as if they are responsible for the event. In the show, Mare felt complete responsible for Kevin's death. Dawn felt responsible for Katie's disappearance. By this line of logic, I'd like to sort out what really happened during the show.
Reasons for picking John Ross- Having broken the Combine record by running a 4.22 40-yard dash, John Rossβs signature feature coming out of college was speed. At Washington, he played both WR and kick returner, and was named the 2016 AP Pac-12 Player of the Year, all while playing with a torn labrum that would later require surgery after the Combine. He was selected by a Bengals team that, while also needing plenty of help on defense, wanted a replacement for the losses of Mohamed Sanu and Marvin Jones Jr.
However, Rossβs rookie season went as disastrous as one can go- His only carry of the season was a fumble, and he would miss time with knee and shoulder injuries, while also being made a healthy scratch for a number of games, before being put on injured reserve in December. 2018 showed a slight improvement, as Ross tied for the team lead in touchdowns (7), but still struggled to consistently get on the field, finishing with just 21 receptions for 210 yards while missing time with a groin injury. 2019 started better, with Ross accumulating over 100 yards in each of his first two games. However, he did little after that, struggling with drops and later going back on injured reserve with a clavicle fracture. 2020 saw the Bengals draft Rossβs replacement in Tee Higgins, and Ross would soon find himself on the bench, expressing his displeasure by publicly demanding a trade. No trade would happen, but Rossβs fate in Cincinnati was officially sealed. He is currently signed with the Giants on a 1-year, $2.5 million deal.
I have a word file with points for every potential suspect and it occurred to me that virtually nothing is known about John Ross despite him being semi prominent in every episode.
He's always in the background, doing nothing particularly notable, yet he's always there. In two scenes especially, when Kenny is crying after being told about Erin's body being found and the scene where he's in bed watching the news about the three girls who were murdered/abducted, he has a strange, almost predatory look on his face. It's too subtle to be noticed from first or even second glance. It's also notable that he never once displayed emotions.

Frank claims to have been brought home by John the night of the murder at 2 am. Yet the only source of this information is John himself as Frank was too drunk (pissing in the closet drunk) to know the actual time. From the photo John took of Frank, he appears to have left him passed out on the sofa. Even in the interrogation, Frank uses John Ross not his fiance as his alibi. Indicating that Faye was asleep and was not woken up when Frank was brought home.
All of this suggests the possibility that John could have brought Frank home an hour earlier, leaving a one-hour window During Erin's estimated TOD for which he cannot account for.
In addition, and maybe this is a stretch, Ryan Ross could have come across something by accident which implicates his dad. He might confess to his mom about it and this could be the thing which Lori tells Mare she didn't know about.
I'm sorry there's no picture with this, I'm a phone operator at work and it's slow so I'm re-watching episodes and keep seeing things I didn't notice before. I posted about fifteen minutes ago about seeing the book the last mile on his night stand. It's about a man who is almost executed until another person confesses. Still on episode 2 the last scenes when Lori is in the hallway with the Riley's you can see in the bookshelf behind them a book called The Last Innocent Man by Phillip Margolin it's kind of similar to the Lincoln Lawyer, the lawyer is slick and cuts deals, but this time he wonders if he sentenced a innocent man to his death. Are the producers trying to tell us it's not John? Is it Frank? Like I said in my previous post HBO is meticulous when it comes to production design they wouldn't put those books there for a reason.
Remember when John has an attitude with Mare at the BBQ about questioning Frank and then he offers up the alibi? Why would he be driving Frank home? Werenβt they celebrating AT Frankβs house? Or are we to believe they went to a tavern or something afterwards?
First time John Marston meets Edgar Ross is when Milton and him enter the Van Der Linde camp in Lemoyne, and Dutch's gang severely outnumbers the two Pinkertons.
Fast forward to the ending of RDR1, the last time John encounters Ross is the army raid where John is one of the last remaining members of Dutch's gang, and is surrounded by agents and soldiers.
β...and when I return Iβll be with fifty men. All of you will die!β
Cool to see the parallels.
Also sad.
Very sad.
Iβm reading that a lot people seem to think John is the killer, or heβs DJs father, or both but Iβm here to clear his name. The only thing John Ross is guilty of is cheating on Lori. With who? One might ask. Well none other than Jessβs mom. In the scene when Jess comes over to the Ross household to confess her suspicions of DJs father. Ryan answers the door, he says βHi Mrs. Rileyβ. Mrs. Riley looks shocked, stutters then replies βohh hi Ryan, may I speak to your momβ. As Lori comes into frame Johnβs dimly lit figure is in the back and the Mrs. Riley says I think itβs best we do this in private. Secondly, in the episode 6 preview it shows John holding a mattress, presumably moving into his fathers or Billies house( Billie might be living with the father). He then asks βwhat the hell is the matter with you?β to his dad. His dad responds βSit down I need to tell you somethingβ. As his dad says that it show what seems to be a flashback scene of Billie closing the door swiftly in his fatherβs face as if heβs hiding something. Which makes me think that the show is just using John as tool to help the viewer discover a hidden truth about Billie. Third, the night of Erinβs murder John is at the bar with Frank and Faye, and drops them home at 2:30am. I donβt think John wouldβve had the time to leave mid way through the engagement party, kill Erin, move the body, get rid of the evidence, and then drop Frank off. Also John is quick to clear Frankβs name when Mare accuses him, and in the last episode he admits that he and Lori basically raised Erin.
he is seen in some of the preview clips for tonight. Looks like he might be living with Billy Ross or vice versa. What if...heβs the one who abused Erin and got her pregnant? Also, weird that Billy is wearing wedding ring in the clip where he is putting something in his tackle box - did he have a ring on in previous episodes?
I see thereβs a lot of misconception about this topic on almost every platform so I thought it would be wise to make it clear that agent Ross knew who John Marston was. A lot of people think Pinkertons didnβt know about John being a member of van der linde gang which is absolutely not true. In the last mission β red dead redemptionβ when Arthur and John are by the cave Agent Ross screams that βgo after van der lindeβ to which another Pinkerton replies βI see two of them by the caveβ to which Agent Ross replies βI see Arthur Morgan and John Marstonβ later when we are running through the cave Agent Ross even says βArthur Morgan and John Marston surrender and we will take you aliveβ. Pinkertons knew who John was otherwise why would John say β I have a heavy price on my headβ when Abigail tells him to buy beechers hope.
There's been alot of speculation that the picture is of John and Erin, which would obviously lead to his arrest, either at the river or when they all get back home. Some even say based on publicity photos that John is being arrested by Mare in the water. But the picture in the Episode 7 preview shows that John Ross is not in prison and at home (unless he's on bail/fugitive) - so I don't think the picture is of him.

βWe hired a limo to take her and her friend to the dance.β Not cheap. Drug dealing money? βIs he doing it again?β Maybe the woman is the supplier and not an affair. He sells to make some extra money. Someone in this town is dealing...
