Why does any title involving any version of Superman (Clark or otherwise) always have a special credit noting a "special arrangement with the Jerry Siegel family"?
I usually don't pay attention to the credit page, but I noticed it yesterday while binge reading Infinite Frontier before I buy issue 6.

The Jerry Siegel's Story.
Hello everybody, as it seems to be the lair of the Comics knowledge, i need your help.
I am trying to learn as much as i can about the comics history and specifically about our favorite boyscout. i can esaily find a lot about Siegel and Shuster biography but, weirdly, i can't find much about Siegel's family.
Yeah i know his father died and it seems to have an major influence in the birth of Superman, but i can't find much about his father's history. It's a bit weird if you consider how much we have a narrative about the Shuster's arrival in America.
Do you have any references that could help fill that hole in my knowledge ?
