A list of puns related to "Italian University"
TLDR: Asked to be head of the ASL Club at school, not sure where to start. Don't want to step over the lines of teaching ASL when I'm not qualified, but also will be the only resource for people to learn in a foreign country. Help.
Hi everyone! So I live here in Rome, Italy and go to a university here. It's an English speaking school mostly comprised of American students studying abroad for the semester, but also has many people from around the world. I myself am American, and studied at the National Technical Institute for the Deaf about 5 years ago in the interpreting program (I was only there for a year, and had to withdraw due to money reasons, but have been signing for many years). There is a Deaf man attending the school now, so the school made an attempt at an American Sign Language club to spread awareness and interest in learning sign language. Apparently it was a huge hit, with over 40 people attending every meeting. The director of student services found out about my previous experiences with the Deaf community and sign language and asked me to lead the club. I just need some suggestions. I don't want to "teach" the club, because that's obviously very wrong when I'm not qualified to do so, but on the other hand I want to help people learn so that we can create a welcoming and fun environment for both hearing and Deaf people! Do you have any ideas for what I can do for this club? And are you able to help me better define the lines that I should not cross while trying to organize it? I want to be as responsible and effective as possible. Thanks :)
Hello,
I wish to enquire about English taught Bachelor's programmes for Computer Science, in Italy. That is,
Which Universities are considered good for CS ? (And which among those are the better/ best ?)
The Quality of a CS degree.
The difficulty of the entrance procedurals.
If you could answer one or more among the questions above, I'd be Grateful.
Do you know any really good universities that have bachelor's programs in media in English? And does it worth studying in Italy? Like can you get some great internships and other opportunities in the media field there?
Hi everyone, I'm 19 currently living in italy with my parentes , doing my bachelor in economics here and than planning on changing city to get a good master in finance. My granparents have about 80k saved up for me( could be even more)(yeah I'm lucky) but I also work (youtuber, make about 2000-2500 per month after taxes, save and invest 85-90% of this, hopefully it might even grow to 3000-3500 or more in the future)
Now I have 3 options: get the master at: an italian public school : Bologna, so I would spend close to nothing.
Bocconi - Milan (as far as I know they are in the top 10 for finance masters in EU) I would spend about 10k per year for the university + Let's say 15k per year living (I'm very very frugal, so that's just an assumption)(Always lived with my parents, idk how much rent, food, ecc could cost and also it would really depend by the city) so that would be 50k for the master
Go abroad (HEC paris, Tilburg, Rotterdam) there are a lot of options that would cost me between 50k-150k
Now my choice would be go to bocconi and that's it. Super good master, again one of the best in EU but still it wouldn't cost too much. And that would be the best option if I wanted to live in italy. But i don't want to, I want to live outside italy. So my question is: would a degree made outside italy help me get a better job in EU in general? Is worth spending that 50-100k more? How's bocconi master in finance seen in EU, that much worse than for example one got at HEC Paris?
It's still early, I've just finished my first year, but I the earlier I get my mind made up, the earlier I can decide how to get the money for example, how much I need to save and how Much I can invest ecc.
Thanks in advance.
EDIT: Thanks so much everyone for the comments, I really appreciate all of your answer really. I will try to answer every post, but atm can't because tomorrow I have an exam, but seriously thanks so much for the help
If anyone is feeling nice and wants to help me with this Italian homework Iβd be really appreciative Iβm beyond confused about restructuring a sentence with double pronouns
Hello, i am a german student and will go to an italian university (University of Bergamo) from October, and am a little scared because of language problems. Basically the problem is that the language requirement listed at my university was only english, not italian. But it turned out the whole classes i can make use of for me degree will be taught in italian, however it is possible to take the written and oral exam in english or german.
I have been debating if i should go or not, but decided to still do it, because i did not want to miss the whole experience. I did learn some italian beforehand and planning to do a short language course before semester starts, but i am not good at learning languages, even though i know some basic french from school. I am now scared i will not be able to follow the lectures at all and waste my time everyday in lectures i can not follow (i will be AT BEST A2 level, more likely A1 at start). Also it is likely there will be no other erasmus students in class because it is sort of a niche subject and not a big university. Do you have any experience how easy going the university or italian universities in general are in a situation like this ?
Hey guys I am interested in studying medicine in italy I want to have a general idea about the fees for non EU international students. I know I am supposed to look it up myself and I did but I just want to make sure that I didn't get anything wrong.
I really want to learn Italian, my mother language is Spanish and I am fluent (I think so) in English. Do you think it would be possible for me to learn Italian properly without payed classes? I have the option to pay for Italian classes in my university but they are quite expensive. Or should I invest?
Hello lovely people of Italy,
Are you interested in sharing some opinions on financial decision-making? Do you want Italy to be included in international research?
A large group of early-career researchers led by Columbia University in New York are investigating financial decisions in over 60 countries, and they also want to hear your voices from all over Italy: https://cumc.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_8bPyHTX65sKQS4S?Q_Language=IT
It is anonymous and should take no more than 6 minutes.
