UPDATE. There was a lot of hate on this, but damn this was perfect. Pellet smoked, ran into some neighbor problems, had to pull and refrigerate overnight. Set out to get to room temp then seared on a cast iron with some compound and gruyere crust.

How much in appearance would meat taken from an animal not using hemoglobin or other iron-compounds look in comparison to that of vertebrates?
I have something on the back burner for sometime in the distant future, and one of the things of note is that vertebrate analogues on this world would not be using hemoglobin for their blood, but coboglobin. Seeing as coloration of meat taken from vertebrates is a combination of both certain proteins and certain muscle fibers, what could I potentially end up with in an organism not using iron, but cobalt instead?

Compounds of metals like aluminum and lead can form transparent colorless glass, but can any metal? Does tungsten glass have the highest refractive index from consumer-suitable materials? Would iron-glass be the cheapest? How about transparent plastics made of metal compounds?
Basic glass has sodium, pyrex has boron... Even if a glass type only passes narrow band in UV or near infrared, it could be useful in some use.

Brand new to defi just started on Iron Finance - How do I compound to get the APY vs the APR?
So I yolo'd a bit of money that I'm not afraid of losing on the Iron/USDC pool. I'm such a sucker at figuring this stuff out I went through dozens of videos until I finally got meta mask set up, tokens bridged to Polygon, and after a few false starts finally got things going in the above mentioned farm. Thanks Coin Bureau for the meta mask tutorial and Crypto Expat for the IF video. Both are very good.
I do have a quick question though (sorry if this is dumb). It lists the APR and the APY which I understand is the compounded return. How do I make sure I'm compounding to get the higher return?

I was able to make almost pure rose colored crystals of Manganese Chloride from the manganese dioxide that I obtained from batteries and HCl.
