It was a real trivial pursuit

I asked my daughter today if she knew what type of pet was the least expensive to keep.

She didn't know.

So I said birds. She said "oh." I let that sink in for a couple seconds before saying. "They're the cheepest".

"I'm looking for an inexpensive pet and I heard your birds are going cheep"

My family was sitting around the table eating lunch and talking about how it's almost impossible to have true vacation time anymore. My grandma chucks in, "Your time is valuable." My dad immediately replies:
