This work is continuation of the research published in Skeptical Inquirer by Narlikar et al on double blind test of Indian astrology where none of the astrologers could perform better than chance, that is 50 percent.

In Western astrology I have my North Node in Scorpio and my South Node in Aries, but in my Indian chart I have Rahu (north node) in Taurus and Ketu (south node) in Scorpio?
Whats the difference between vedic Indian astrology and western astrology and which technique is more accurate? If the birth chart says that something is going to happen then can we prevent that from happening?
My grandpa can read them because he was taught when he was younger, but I feel like this skill is dying out or becoming very niche. As “fake” as it may be, I still think it’s interesting!

So I’m a Taurus (sun) according to western astrology and I could never identify with being a Taurus. I did a natal chart and everything and still felt like things weren’t right.
Well I’m Indian American and recently decided to explore more about Vedic astrology. I’m shocked! According to this system, I am a Scorpio (moon). So many things are starting to make sense now.
A few questions: Has anyone else had this experience? How did you make sense of it? How did you begin your journey into Indian astrology (I only speak English and many of the resources aren’t in English from what I’ve seen)
