A list of puns related to "Hibiscus Syriacus"
The Hibiscus in my garden is soon coming into bloom. I'm wondering if it'll be good in a homebrew. It could be an IPA, Saison or Pale Ale, but mead might also work.
According to the wiki page, the flowers are edible and used in herbal teas, just like your "regular" Hibiscus.
I know the routine. I should brew a tea with the flowers to see how it tastes. I'm just wondering about other people's experiences, though.
The seeds I have are: Hibiscus syriacus (rose of Sharon)
Black cohosh
Datura stramonium
Speckled alder
Norway spruce
Eastern hemlock
Marigold
English lavender
Coleus
Red corn poppy
New York ironweed
Want: literally anything, with particular interest in herbs, medicinal value, and pollinators or anything colorful. If you have witch hazel, passionflower, or grape cutting/seed I'm also willing to pay for those if you don't want to trade what I have. There may be more I'm forgetting, will add when I get home if so. PM me with offers!
