A list of puns related to "Harness"
Cold showers or splashing cold water on your face will bring you up out of freeze and get the sympathetic nervous system going, which will give you a foot up the vagal ladder. If youβre stuck in freeze and need a quick fix to mobilize you, take an icy cold shower! It honestly works so well it doesnβt even feel like itβs real. As if itβs One Weird Trick, but actually works.
How I use this:
I didnβt want to give up my cozy warm showers, as my inner child loves them, so my solution has been to blast myself with scorching hot water and luxuriate under it while I hold myself in containment (right hand tucked under my left armpit, left hand holding my upper right arm, and squeeze) or with my hand over my heart. I rock back and forth while doing that and tell my inner child how much sheβs loved and valued, how much I want her here with me. She feels so safe and loved and the warm water melts her into comfort.
When the water gets too hot and my body starts craving cold, Iβll start turning it down. Sometimes slow, sometimes fast, depends on the day. I keep going until itβs nearly uncomfortably cold and pause to get the conditioner out of my hair. Then Iβll keep inching the temp down until itβs full cold, and Iβm gasping and bouncing to stay warm.
The really cool (har pun intended) thing is that as soon as I turn to the cold water, I start βseeingβ more clearly. The fog in front of my eyes get stripped away and the words on the bottles come into focus. Itβs like putting on a pair of glasses. Itβs how I know Iβm coming up out of freeze and that Iβm mobilizing the sympathetic nervous system. At this point my inner child feels like sheβs been loved to bits and is ready to go play. Sheβs no longer listless and hurting, sheβs mobilized and ready to go go go.
Iβve noticeably dropped down into freeze much less since doing this practice. I think in part to upping my self care and comfort towards my little inner child. She doesnβt feel as ignored and abandoned anymore, so sheβs not feeling as intensely, which means I donβt feel as overwhelmed and then numb her out to make the pain go away. Itβs then easier to feel mobilized by the cold shower and get on with my day instead of numbing out with my phone for hours at a time.
I hope someone will find this as useful as I did.
Edited to add a graphic from the Somatic Experiencing Institute explaining containment.
Hey everyone. Getting close to finalizing my endgame switchaxe set and thought I'd share it since I've had people ask me frequently what armor skills I use and what to aim for. Anyways, on to the build!
Note that this is an endgame build and will require a lot of decoration farming to be finalized. You will not be able to realize this build fully until you progress beyond HR 50.
Weapon: Axe of Demons (1 slot) - augment this with 10% affinity. The slot will be used for an attack boost decoration, or for utility (see separate section below).
Helm: Dragonking Eyepatch alpha
Chest: Kushala Cista beta.
Gloves: Kushala Grip beta.
Waist: Utility (or attack) see separate section below.
Legs: Kushala Crus beta
Charm: Handicraft Charm III
Tool: Affinity Booster
All of the pieces above including the belts I will mention has a 2 or 3 socket slot for decorations. This is important, as 2 socket or above slots are really powerful in this game.
Decorations (all 2 slots so they can be put anywhere):
See utility section for what to put in the waist and weapon sockets

So, with the above we get the following:

Assume both plans have a deductible/responsibility of $3000/20%. If I were to have a $20,000 medical expense and was responsible for $3400 after I met the first $3000 deductible ((20000-3000)x.2), would the $3000 that I already paid qualify towards the deductible of the secondary insurances or would an additional $3000 deductible need to be met?
Same question as to how doal HDHPs coverage prescriptions.
Are there significant benefits (har har, pun intended) to having double Dental and Vision coverage? We can double cover the whole family of 3 for less than $600 a year or pocket that money for single coverage. My wife and I both wear glasses (and would like new ones) and we all have teeth. Our five-year-old daughter is likely to have the dental expenses of any growing child.
Many thanks.
Basically, we (me and the fiance) have been looking to move to another state and buy a house for about 8 months. We have been saving aggressively and have a ton of liquid capital for this very purpose. Basically we can make a 10% down payment on a house within our budget without having to sell the house here at all. We are looking to move in October as we are getting married in September.
Herein lies the problem: In order to get pre-qualified, our income-to-debt ratio must be below a certain percentage. The houses we are looking at are typically over the cap on FHA loans (idea being we could get an FHA loan, float two mortgages, sell the house here, and then refinance out of mortgage insurance).
So we have a couple of options, none of which I have been through so I have no idea what we're getting into:
Lower the cost of the house that we want so we qualify for FHA. This is probably the easiest option as we could easily handle two mortgages for a couple of months while closing on the house here, but we lose out on location of the house out of state and frankly the quality of the house we'd like, but with way more financial flexibility (FHA usually asks for minimum 3.5% down versus 10%).
Sell the house here, move early: This is definitely the most economically-stable option.Idea being we would sell the house here before the wedding, pack up our stuff to be in storage, and live in corporate housing here before finding a house there, buying, and then moving. Downsides are that it's risky from a buyer's perspective - will there even be a good market at that time for houses to buy? What if we can't find anything there? Please keep in mind that our current location is a mad-house (har har puns) market-wise. Houses usually stay on the market for no more than a couple of days; people close on them in cash within a couple of weeks for way over asking price.
Sell the house after marriage, move up into corporate housing: Probably a more stressful option, but it allows us to have the same amount of liquid capital on hand from selling a house and making a sizable profit while also giving us the flexibility of being able to tour houses there whenever we want. Downsides are similar from a risk perspective: If we move up there, it's very difficult to find rental properties, and corporate housing is considerably more expensive. The market is also pretty slow comparatively, so we'd be looking at a 1-2 month closing versus 1 month maximum here.
If you have any

Jason Schreier revealed information about the game but did not mention any details. These were received by the GameReactor editorial office, which emphasizes that the developers are working on more than a simple refresh:
>βWhile it would be fun to see the worldβs reaction to the unexpected disclosure of this project, Schreierβs report on whatβs happening at PlayStation Studios recently has somewhat spoiled it. Iβm talking to some extent because people seem to think itβs going to be basically just The Last of Us: Remastered.Letβs not exaggerate expectations, but it wonβt be a βregularβ improvement in resolution, framerate and textures. Naughty Dog is about to really harness the power and capabilities of PlayStation 5 with The Last of Us: Part II engine. Not only in terms of graphics, but also a few other things. β
Hi all,
I am currently doing my 4th step*, and have completed everything except for my sexual inventory. I didn't realize that this would be the hardest, longest part for me (har har, puns).
I am seeing patterns. Patterns I do not like and do not want to face. Mostly seeing that I am perpetually lonely, and tend to treat others in the exact way I loathe being treated, situations that have spiraled me into depression before... And here I am, doing that to other people! I talked to my sponsor who wants me to finish it ASAP so that I'm not dwelling on it longer than possible, but every time I sit down to work on it, I get sad. One suggestion I got was to just "ask someone how they are doing." This is a nice distraction, to hear about someone else's life for a change, but it does not create the release/relief (like I imagine the 5th step does) that I need.
So, I know there are people here who have done the steps, help?
-Thanks!
*For people not in AA: what I am doing is listing everyone I have been sexually involved with, from actually having sex with to even just fantasizing about. Then I write why they are in my "inventory," how it affects me (personal life? self-esteem? safety? etc). The next part is to consider my part in the situation by listing how I was selfish, self-seeking, dishonest, and afraid.
You have the power to attract everything you want out of life, and more.
Way more.
Through the power of your mind, body, and soul.
Meditation, Exercise/Diet, and Retention.
You can do this easily by harnessing the power of Natural Law.
What is Natural Law?
Natural law is the fundamental principle in which nearly all patterns of life organize themselves into.
You may know this as the Pareto Principle.
Before this mathematical law was known scientifically, it was observed in the Bible as the Matthew Principle.
(Matthew 25:29):
βFor unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.β
This is Natural Law, and can be observed in almost all patterns of distribution in the universe.
1% own 99% of the wealth.
1% of stars in the universe have 99% of the mass.
A small percentage of employees generate 90%+ of the productivity in any business.
The top 20% of men get 80% of the success with women.
Natural Law is a cut throat, winner take all system.
The good news is, Natural Law, once understood, can be harnessed quite easily
Before talking about how you can easily become that top performer that gets 99% of the results out of life,
Letβs talk about what to expect as a man who has harnessed Natural Law.
Note: Itβs not all sunshine and rainbows.
1: In every room you enter, you will get the vast majority of attention from others.
This is a blessing and at times, a curse.
You will get the majority of attraction, smiles, and other signals of interest.
This quickly turns into an upward spiral, such is the nature of Natural Law.
βPussy attracts pussyβ - a quote from my pervy uncle.
Once one girl starts to give you signals, they all start to give you signals.
Next thing you know, a competition for your attention begins.
This sounds great, and it is.
But this inevitably leads to much envy, bitterness, and resentment from other men.
Much like the envy and bitterness the rich receive from the poor.
2: You will receive free stuff and new opportunities.
Be very very careful when offered something for free.
Law 40: Despise the free lunch.
βWhat is offered for free is dangerous-it usually involves either a trick or a hidden obligation. What has worth is worth paying for. By paying your own way you stay clear of gratitude, guilt, and deceit.β - Robert Greene, The 48 Laws of Power
A man who has harnessed Natural Law is a magnet.
He will att
