A list of puns related to "Guinea Corn"
For context I live out in the countryside and have a large corn field in my backyard and with my guinea getting picky Iβm trying to find some other options for him. The corn is well dried out similar to what you might feed goats or deer at a petting zoo.
My mom got a bag of forage for my boys but thereβs popped corn, can they have it or should I remove it? Also can they have coconut shells? My momβs bird decided sheβs done with her current coconut toy since she finally chewed the rope in half. Iβm wanting to make a toy for the pigs out of it.
I didnβt know if anyone gives their piggy cooked corn on the cob? I didnβt know if it was something they could have every once in a while??
Two years ago, I wrote an Alexa skill called "Guinea Pig" that can tell you whether or not pigs can eat particular foods. If she knows, she will tell you how often they can eat it. You can start the skill either by saying "Alexa, open Guinea Pig" or using use a phrase such as "Alexa, ask the Guinea Pig if she can eat corn." My pig Cupcake is in the logo.
Once the skill is open you can ask foods using phrases like:
- Can my guinea pigs eat {food}
- Can he/she/they/it/you eat {food}
- Can cavies eat {food}
- What about {food}
Ask her if she can eat Easter eggs. Ask about popcorn, wires, pizza, guinea pigs, toes, ...
You can keep asking about foods until you say "Quit" or "Cancel" or stay quite for 2 seconds.
You can ask for help or the disclaimer. I would like to know if people hear the disclaimer when they haven't asked for it. I sometimes do and can't figure out why.
I would like to improve the skill, and could use some feedback. Also let me know if some of the answers are wrong.
To enable the skill, say "Alexa, enable Guinea Pig" or go to https://www.amazon.com/daroco-Guinea-Pig/dp/B01NBYVZYB
Had to repost because my first attempt didn't have this text.

After years of searching for resources all over the internet, I have decided to try and make my own all-in-one settlement building guide and template. This is an amalgamation of 4 years of DMing knowledge, countless online forums, and bits and bobs from a million different D&D inspirations over time. Hopefully it's an enjoyable, thought-provoking read as well as a great resource for your world building needs.
Special thanks to u/World_of_Ideas for their epic post from 4 years ago that still comes up in Google search as a top result because it's so ridiculously awesome. I've used it so many times over the years, and I'm happy to be able to give it credit today. My list of buildings wouldn't be nearly as complete if it weren't for this fantastic post.
Special thanks to Guy from How to be a Great GM, because his videos have helped me get to a point where I'm confident enough to contribute to this community. He has put so much thought and effort into the intricacies and minutia that go into world building. He truly is a master of the craft.
And special thanks to DnDSpeak.com for this amazing list that I've used about a thousand times over the years.
This was specifically designed for Notion as a template, but I've copied, pasted, and reformatted it here so anyone can use it. Honestly though, if you're a DM and you haven't tried Notion... goddamn, you're gonna love it. It's free to use and it'll change the way you organize your campaign data. If you already have an account, here is the link to download the template. Naturally, it's a heck of a lot prettier and much better formatted there. If you don't have an account, just copy and paste everything below this paragraph and toss it into whatever text editor you feel like using. Or you can use [this link](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-bOZKEDt0-xOEpsUoAJbCgwMYkUCnqY9nMiEQQqC4QY/edit?usp=sh
... keep reading on reddit β‘(Edit: I have decided I'm not getting one. But thanks so much for the answers! I won't delete this post, maybe it will be helpful to someone else)
I'm thinking about getting a guinea pig, but I want to know what I would get myself into first. If it looks like it won't work, I won't get one. (I have lifetime experience with different dog breeds, cats, and I had pet rats for many years when I was younger)
I have googled and found some answers, and some contradictory. So I just want some more views. Reddit is always good for that! Any question answered or tips are very welcome! π
Can they be potty trained? If so, how difficult it that? Or do they not need to be pottytrained? I don't mind cleaning up some poo, but I don't want pee to get everywhere, like how rats lose drops of urine the whole time. I would love it if they could move around the house freely.
They need hay/straw for food but I've also read an alternative to that is a specific grass. Does that smell, is it dusty? (Asking for allergies) Are there other options?
If I would get one it would be with me all day, I barely ever leave the house and I wouldn't put it somewhere in a different room. I want a pet for company. And would love a cuddly pet. Would I still need to get two?
What options are there for floor covering?My boyfriend and me combined have quite a few allergies. I've been lurking this sub a bit an have seen people here use cloth? Fleece plaids? That would be perfect for me, but how often do you need to wash those? I read it must be soft for their feet, so I'm guessing the hard corn kernels aren't an option?
I read somewhere you need to deworm them. Can they also get fleas? (I don't know how they'd get them if they don't go outside, but I do have a dog at the moment. She gets birthconfrol for flea pills (don't know how to translate it into English properly))
How is the vitamin C added to their diet? Through fruit and vegetables, or do you need to give them supplements?
Do they smell? Like I know ferrets have a very musky smell so I don't want that.
Is there a difference in personality for male or female?
Thanks to any question answered!! ππΉ
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
The nurse asked the rabbit, βwhat is your blood type?β
βI am probably a type Oβ said the rabbit.
The doctor says it terminal.
Alot of great jokes get posted here! However just because you have a joke, doesn't mean it's a dad joke.
THIS IS NOT ABOUT NSFW, THIS IS ABOUT LONG JOKES, BLONDE JOKES, SEXUAL JOKES, KNOCK KNOCK JOKES, POLITICAL JOKES, ETC BEING POSTED IN A DAD JOKE SUB
Try telling these sexual jokes that get posted here, to your kid and see how your spouse likes it.. if that goes well, Try telling one of your friends kid about your sex life being like Coca cola, first it was normal, than light and now zero , and see if the parents are OK with you telling their kid the "dad joke"
I'm not even referencing the NSFW, I'm saying Dad jokes are corny, and sometimes painful, not sexual
So check out r/jokes for all types of jokes
r/unclejokes for dirty jokes
r/3amjokes for real weird and alot of OC
r/cleandadjokes If your really sick of seeing not dad jokes in r/dadjokes
Punchline !
Edit: this is not a post about NSFW , This is about jokes, knock knock jokes, blonde jokes, political jokes etc being posted in a dad joke sub
Edit 2: don't touch the thermostat
Do your worst!
How the hell am I suppose to know when itβs raining in Sweden?

We told her she can lean on us for support. Although, we are going to have to change her driver's license, her height is going down by a foot. I don't want to go too far out on a limb here but it better not be a hack job.
Ants donβt even have the concept fathers, let alone a good dad joke. Keep r/ants out of my r/dadjokes.
But no, seriously. I understand rule 7 is great to have intelligent discussion, but sometimes it feels like 1 in 10 posts here is someone getting upset about the jokes on this sub. Let the mods deal with it, they regulate the sub.

I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
Looking at some raw data from European zoos, domesticated animals and birds heavily proliferate in the highest listings, ranking far and above many normally perceived "staple" zoo animals like tigers and brown bears. I know a lot of people like trying to recreate or emulate zoos they've been to in-person, but without a healthy amount of members from these groups that goal becomes difficult to accomplish.
To simplify the data, here's the 10 highest ranked members of each group (excluding ones already in the game):
To qualify this data, I will re-stress that this is primarily focused on animals held in European zoos. If the website factored in American and Asian zoos, it's reasonable to expect the rankings to be quite different.
Additionally, there are several animals listed there that fit neither criteria and would regardless be great general-purpose additions for the game. Listing the top 5 of this group would be common raccoons (551 housings), Bennett's wallabies (547 housings), ring-tailed coatis (449 housings), wild boar (364 housings), and African spurred tortoises (363 housings).
It's also worth noting that this list doesn't have any invertebrates, which may heavily skew some of the data as many zoos have insect houses and butterfly pavilions (not to mention that aquariums hold their fair share of invertebrates as well). Despite this limitation for exhibit animal pickings, there's still several options here. The top 5 in this section would be pond sliders (468 housings), ball pythons (354 housings), Western bearded dragons (329 housings), corn snakes (321 housings), and Greek tortoises (269 housings).

I'm curious if you guys have any items that you try to steer pet-parents away from. The most obvious one for me are the horrendous fish bowls we sell (I still don't understand what those are supposed to be for exactly) but I wanted to hear if there were any other major ones.
Two muffins are in an oven, one muffin looks at the other and says "is it just me, or is it hot in here?"
Then the other muffin says "AHH, TALKING MUFFIN!!!"
Don't you know a good pun is its own reword?
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
