A list of puns related to "Glockenspiel"
Hello, I have a 27-key glockenspiel and wanted to try something on it, any pieces that featuring it? I have a fair amount of other instruments too so it doesn't have to be a solo, I mostly listen to classical and the glockenspiel doesn't come up too often.
I've love to know more lullaby-like songs that have glockenspiels in them, sounds like the marimba etc. songs like no surprises by radiohead and sleep by GY!BE have it in them. anyway, anyone have any suggestions????

I've been searching but all I find is huge libraries that only include the glockenspiel along with lots of other instruments but I just want a single glockenspiel sound. Any idea where I can find single instrument packs?
Title! Thank you in advance everybody! Appreciate it!
Hi all!
I am trying to figure out a song from the 80βs that I have heard in the radio a ton but never can catch the lyrics. Itβs up-tempo, has a repeating bass line and the lead βriffβ is doubled up on a piano and glockenspiel. The drums have classic 80βs reverb. Itβs a male vocalist and itβs not Flock of Seagulls or Psychedelic Furrs. As far as I can tell, the song is in the key of F# and the notes of the melody I can remember are C#, A#, G#, A#, D#, C#, D, E F#, D, C#.
Thatβs all I can remember. Thanks!!
https://onlinesequencer.net/1881797 I remember it being a glockenspiel but this was the closest instrument I could get in the online sequencers I could find. I can't quite figure out how it varies at the end there with the higher sour notes and the slow decline. The timing feels really off.
On a whim I checked the Hollow Knight soundtrack, since I watched a recent youtube video about it, but none of the soundtrack tracks matched, and I think I tried all the different soundtracks. Maybe it's a Final Fantasy MMO song.
unless I made this song up as I was waking up. but I remember hearing it before.
I tried midomi, musipedia, audiotag, and I think ACRcloud. No results.
Whatβs the percussion used in king rat that sounds kind of like a glockenspiel or something? Maybe crotales? Itβs played through the verses.
This one has been in my heads for years but I thought it was just a fever dream. There was a cartoon, I believe between 2000 and 2009, and it had this brief little "intermission song" between some scenes. I believe it was two of the villains doing a play on the "Potato, Potahto" song. Anyways one of the lyrics was something along the lines of, "I'll try the Glockenspiel if you try the Tuba; I'll fly to Switzerland if you dig Aruba. Glockenspiel, Tuba, Switzerland, Aruba. What are we gonna do?". It had somewhat of a piano jazzy music going along with it, a typical "two people singing on a stage with canes and top hats" dealy.
So I can always remember just that lyric but absolutely nothing else.
Hi, I have decoded the message Lukas's father wrote and have found all of the notes. Yet, when I play them in the correct order, nothing happens! Do I have to do something else first?
EDIT: I finally figured it out. I accidentally forgot to decode part of the message Lukas's dad left. I don't even know how I forgot that lol
He says they've turned on the radios for the first time in a long time. What does that mean?
Hey, I've been playing the glockenspiel for over two years now, and I recently encountered this problem.
I've found that it's become increasingly hard to read the notes and play at the same time, because if I look at the sheet without looking at the glock I'll miss some notes, and it's hard for me to only look at the glockenspiel.
Any tips/tricks, or do I just need to practice more/ get used to where the notes are?
Recordings due November 28!
So technically it's due in 8 days, and I'd love for as many people to submit as possible.
I am short solo submissions, so if you want to play the piccolo solo on another instrument, this is your time to shine! Remember that I am prioritizing people that also submitted a regular part unless you don't play an instrument in the score!
Also missing a harp submission from a full range harp!
These instruments only have one person playing each part and I'd love more to beef up the section:
I would also like more piccolo submissions so that we can have several people featured in the solo section!
Feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns! If the piece is too difficult I will gladly make a simplified part! If you are interested but you're instrument isn't on the list, I may make a part for you!
Here is a list of the submissions I've received so far with notes for each instrument group. Find your instrument below if you want info about your section. I'm still taking recordings from everyone though and I will value your contribution whether you're the first person that records a part or the 643rd!!!!

*Ive already posted this on other subreddits to no avail. If anyone can find this piece, itβs you guys.
There was only one thread of mine left up. I took most of them down after they got buried. hereβs the one left up
So back in 2015, I heard this lovely song at my acupuncturistβs office. She plays music in the rooms off internet radio. She used something called RadioArt.com. Anyway, I only heard the last half of this piece and barely remember it. Iβve made a recording of what little I remember on my own keyboard. Here it is
This was back in September/October of 2015, and I cannot find this piece anywhere. Iβve used multiple song identification apps and they all come up empty.
If any of you can help me please do! Iβve been looking for this song for years
