A list of puns related to "Giant Armadillo"
Platform(s): PS1 I think, but I am not certain on this, I played this at a friends house with him, and my strongest memories of a controller are with the dualshock 1, so it might be this, but it could also be SNES for all I know.
Genre: 2d shooter I think, I'm not entirely sure. Definitely had 2 player support.
Estimated year of release: 1996 - 2005(this is a ballpark estimate, not even sure about this)
Graphics/art style:
Notable characters: Not a single memory.
Notable gameplay mechanics: So here are where my strongest memories of this game come in. I seem to recall me and my friend ascending each side of the screen parallel from each other, possibly on a ladder, seemingly ascending a giant sewer hole (not sure it's a sewer to be clear, it could just be a large cavernous underground area) while shooting the turtle/armadillo boss, while possibly avoiding enemies or the boss's attacks, damaging him, finally emerging out of the sewer/underground to I think to what reverted to normal horizontal 2d gameplay, while I THINK the boss escaped (or we could have killed it, I'm not sure, but I seem to recall at least a 2nd encounter). I think I remember repeating this quite often, but that fact alone makes me think my friend maybe didn't have a memory card or know how to save, or it was a game with no saves, so I can't say for sure or not whether repeating this boss fight over and over again was due to that, or if it was a feature.
I don't even know if shooting was a part of the main game or if it just took place during this boss fight. My memory is extremely fuzzy on the whole game to be honest. I've asked this before on a different website and they were not able to figure it out, but they kept saying it sounded like metal slug, but when I google image search "metal slug bosses", nothing really sticks out that makes me think "that's it!", however I do get a faint sense of familiarity from looking at them, despite having never played them, though maybe that's just in my head.
Other details: Another flimsy guess at my poor memory, is that when I emerged from the boss fight, there might have been a chain link fence in the background. An even flimsier memory: the before and after parts of the game possibly took place on the streets in some kind of city, which could have been a 2d shooter, but the kind where you can move up and down on the streets.
Exactly what the title says. In search of a stuffed plushie Armadillo. Not the standard 16" sized ones, a much bigger one if possible. Think the size of stuffed toys that you can find at the Fair.
Thank you in advance
