This pen is from my personal collection. Medium Nib. As much as I hate to let go of a piece of genuine OMAS arco bronze rod stock, this pen just isn't the right ergonomic shape for me. I've only inked it a couple times and it is in near perfect condition. The arco pattern lines up very easily. There is a slight imperfection in the section, shown in the last photo. It is a blemish on the celluloid and feels like surface scuffing. It is very small, but I need to call it out. This pen ships with all original packaging, the unboxing experience will be like a new pen.

Began the morning with a delightful buffet breakfast, and tried the oatmeal like one of you recommended (it was lovely). Now to the good stuff: around 9:30 am, in walks the god of television himself, chris harrison, and HE IS SAT RIGHT NEXT TO MY TABLE. Up close, he is very tan, and has a bigger nose in person. Handsome. Ordered a green tea and was very delicate with how he strained the tea bag. Couldn't tell what exactly he ordered, but he did not get up for the buffet, and was instead brought an assortment of breakfast items to his table. Dined alone, and it doesn't seem like he brought a girlfriend with him. At one point, he turned his iphone on its side and was streaming/watching something. Very polite to the waiter. Then tonight, I ventured to the bar area like you all wanted me to, and holy shit it was like a WATERING HOLE. Spotted a group of about 30; definitely a mix of producers and cast members. Arie and Lauren were NOT there. Here is who I was able to single out:
Maquel: Gorgeous cheekbones/eyebrows, very small. Marikh: Literally so stunning. Looks like she has an instagram filter on IRL. Heavy makeup, glossy blown out hair, definitely the most over-dressed/made up out of everyone. Jacqueline: Skinny, nothing about her stood out. Would probably pass her on the street without realizing it was her. Jenna Cooper: I heard her annoying voice, but didn't see her. Hi, I recently took the first steps of my fieldwork for my masters thesis. I conduct this research as a volunteer within a socio-cultural organisation that temporarily occupies vacancy and puts it to use for the community. As I was attending a meeting the other day, trying to write some notes, I found myself incapable of writing down every significant bit of information that came at me. So I quickly decided to focus on personal names and themes & opinions by writing down the (what I perceived as) significant words they used. At the one hand, I felt like I gathered some useful information but when going over my notes I felt like I wasn't able to capture it all. The methodological courses I attended in the past did not adequatly prepare me for this practical part of ethnographic research. Therefore, I wonder if anyone has some general rules they follow when writing fieldnotes?
I honestly have too many notebooks to get through them all. I toyed with the idea, but never pursued it further. Has anyone else done this before?
This year i wanted to get into EDC and just being more prepared. I have loved it. Carrying a pen and FieldNotes has been my favorite addition. BUT being in a pocket day after day has taken its toll. What is your recomindation on a FieldNotes carrier and if possible space to hold credit cards.

They are very simple, but useful (use one everyday myself). Instead of keeping them in my drawer indefinitely, I would like to find new owners for them. I'm giving them away for free - you'd only have to pay shipping (Europe and US - 3.40€/3.60$, cheaper without tracking, will not send to Russia). I accept paypal. If you're feeling generous and want to trade them for something - the better, but I'm happy to just give them away.

I like the Fieldnotes notebooks, even though not all of their editions suit my purposes. I am kind of a chaotic person, and I've tried to get things streamlined over the years. This means that I have a weird mix of gtd and journaling tools, that I like but make my wishes for calendars and notebooks very particular. Just as I had filled my blue bookends series notebook, the three new Autumn series Fieldnotes arrived! They are smaller and more pocketable. Stapled, only 48 pages, but not to expensive and the embossed leaves are lovely. Paper is still great. Quite thick with minimal bleed and feathering for my fountain pens.

The informant says that he has heard that the witches can wear the hides of bears, wolves or coyotes and turn into those animals. He has also heard that there are witches among the Hopi who get into bowls and can roll right along.
At night witch people dress up in the skins of wolves, coyotes or owls. They run around dressed up like that. They paint their bodies and their faces with the white clay which we use in chants. At night they run around on all fours in skins of wolf or coyote or bear. They paint their face just like First Scolder used to—yellow on chin, black on nose, blue on the mouth, white on the forehead. Except for the beads and skins and paint they are naked.

As of now, I've been using the old school method of notepad + pen, but I wanted to upgrade to a digital method for recording and organizing (and backing up!) my notes.
But, even if you're adept of the pen&paper method, how do you organize your notes? I can't seem to find a satisfactory way of doing so...
