A list of puns related to "Feral Cats"
Say you had 1 year worth of time and enough money to get whatever equipment you needed, what would be the fastest and most efficient method to eradicate feral cats in Australia? Please comment down below.
Why YSK: Letting your cats outside may be great for their mental health, but it is worse for your local ecosystem. Cats are natural predators, and as a result are the largest and most abundant invasive predator of birds in the US.
Feral cats number over 50M in the US, equating to about 8 billion small game hunts per year, most of which are small song birds.(2.4 billion)
Why is this important to me?
a single mating pair of cats can produce 400,000 offspring in 7 years
cats kill about 50% of songbird fledglings (baby birds) they will never recover at this rate
a UNebraska study has pinned 33 bird extinction events on cat predation
Humans, almost 8 billion of us and our cars, are responsible for about 400M deaths of song-birds annually, cats are 2.4 billion
This issue is 100% to blame on irresponsible cat owners because they are an invasive species brought here by pet trade.

My mom feeds a feral cat that is "hers" but all the other neighborhood cats come and eat his food. Also raccoons, skunks, and god knows what else. Is there any sort of device or product that can facial recognize my mom's feral cat and dispense food accordingly? I know I sound ridiculous as I type this but just trying to make my mom happy.
I spotted this poor injured baby in the parking lot at the BJβs in SJ (511 Coleman Ave). Black adult cat, limping on a hind leg, very skittish, wouldnβt let me get close. Iβm not from the area and was hoping someone could suggest a cat rescue that might be able to come out and trap him so he can get veterinary care? Iβm happy to make the calls myself, I just thought Iβd check for suggestions here first. I feel bad for him/her :(

Okay so a year ago i had this feral/semi feral cat coming to me for food, and over the year i feed it, and talked with it etc. Its very scared of people in general but not for me anymore, but cant really lift her without her getting mad and bite/scratch me.
Shes been sleeping inside some nights, (but usually jump out the window doing the night, or out the door if its open for her)
The problem is, i had to move a month ago, and some other feed her atm outside, but they are leaving in a month.
If i catch her would a feral cat/semi feral, be able to adopt to being inside only?, or is it better to let her be feral, but with non really to feed her? (she lived in the garden/area for 3 years before it came to me and wanted food says the people who live their also)
I dont really know what is best? I wanna do what is best for her, but im not sure what i should do?
I ofcause asked different animal shelters, but because their is so many feral/semi feral cats her, they dont take any in.

Unlike places where they were introduced like Australia, the Pacific Islands, Caribbean Islands, etc, feral cats have been present in most European ecosystems since they arrived from Africa thousands of years ago. Rabbits, rodents, mustelids and birds have co-evolved with them. They pose a genetic threat to the European Wildcat but aside from that, Do they have any negative impact?
Hi everyone,
I have a peculiar issue. I just moved into a new home in South Overland Park and have noticed 8-10 or more feral cats. They have been tormenting my dog and have been rummaging through my bushes and flowers.
I reached out to animal control and unfortunately they cannot do anything as Johnson county does not have a leash law.
Now animal control did mention a few private groups that do trap/release the animals.
Does anyone know who to reach out to or anyone want some feral cats lol.
Thanks!
