Dowel Puns

I took the wooden dowels out of their packaging and said, "Aren't they a-dowel-able?" Cue groans.

My son got a "stacking train;" it's wooden with little dowels sticking up that he is supposed to put blocks on. My dad handed him a block and told him to put it on there, but he put it between the dowels instead. My dad said "that was an interesting way to put the block on the train."

I said, "He likes to think outside the blocks."
