I noticed that when I want to degust something properly, I basically apply the rules I have come to taste whisky with, which highly attributes to how conscious I am when tasting new food. My guess would be most of the people who enjoy a good scotch, also dig good food and are generally more aware of thei taste buds. Are there any special areas you are interested in regarding food and drinks? coffee? tea? caviar?
My partner eats meat and I do not, we struggle with finding places to go on special occasions because most fine dining places don't have many vegetarian items. Open to $$ restaurants too rather than $$$ Or $$$$, it doesn't have to be fancy or too expensive, just delicious.
Edit: I know of the vegetarian and vegan restaurants, looking for restaurants that have good options for vegetarians and meat :)
