A list of puns related to "Considered"
Currently I'm using the HLAPI, but my classes are being bloated with ugly methods, and it's hard to separate things.
How to design a networking architecture well with HLAPI, so my codebase won't look like hell?
I also considered PUN, but it looks very similar to the HLAPI, and also if I'm correct, everything runs through their servers. I can't even host a room, and let people directly connect to me. Or can I?
But at least it won't be deprecated in a year, unlike HLAPI. So the question still remains:
How to design a networking architecture well with PUN, so my codebase won't look like hell?
I considered the LLAPI as well. It would be easier the build a communication layer, and it would be also easier to switch to the new Unity Networking. But how should it look like? There must be some kind of design patterns for this. And also I would have to implement lots of must have stuff, which are already in PUN or in the HLAPI.
What do you think? Thanks for the help!
I've been trying to find a good solution for authoritative server multiplayer with Unity3D, but so far it seems like one doesn't exist. For any real production game that has multiplayer, you need to have an authoritative server model to properly handle cheaters and other things (it seems like Unity has realized this with their new Connected Games initiative, but that's still a ways out). You also need the ability to have server code that runs on the server to properly handle things like AI-controlled NPCS (which almost any game will have).
Here are the options I've considered:
PUN (https://www.photonengine.com/pun)
Not suitable for a real production game. Cons:
UNET (https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/UNet.html)
Not suitable for a real production game. Cons:
GameSparks (https://www.gamesparks.com/product/)
Cons:
Pros:
Master Server Framework (https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/tools/network/master-server-framework-71391)
Cons:
Photon Server (On-Premises) https://www.photonengine.com/en-US/onpremise
Cons:
Gamelift (https://aws.amazon.com/gamelift/)

I see tons of illegal arrests, leading to many of our own not understanding what they've done wrong. I would like to make a post pointing out the rules and where we can and cannot make arrests.
First off, the one hour rule; it is in place to show that reddit's finest are out and about actively patrolling pun-free subs. So, for an arrest to be legitimate, you have to detain the punee within one hour of the offence.
Also, many of our officers don't understand about pun-safe areas. These are areas meant for jokes, play on words, memes, and puns. These areas are ok for puns and are a major reason we get a lot of backlash. We aren't ment to be like the shitty Pun Nazis, we are here to let puns stay where they are apriciated, not in serious subreddits.
I would also like to mention a lot of flak we get is also from trying to arrest on posts that contain puns. Posts are there to be puns, and should be considered pun safe themselves.
Hi there!
I'm a introverted cat guy who likes to talk with other people! Kik (well, social media in general) lets me interact with people on a less demanding level than direct interaction, which ultimately means I can interact with more people, more often, than I'm usually comfortable with in person.
I'm hoping to meet someone who enjoys talking about anything and everything except politics. I love to cook, I try to bake something new at least once a month. I have a smoothie every day for breakfast, and I consider lunch an imposition, even if my digestive system seems to demand it.
My favourite band is The Protomen, I think Waterworld is a perfectly good movie, and I don't foresee ever getting tired of watching JoJo Rabbit. My cat is named Mayonnaise, despite him being a deep orange cat, and I consider puns to be high quality humour.
If you think we'd have some good conversations, feel free to message me. Expect lots of cat pictures, and the occasional dopey selfie.
Note: I won't see chats, so please, do message me.
Reddit is just as big of offender of this as the news and other platforms. Multiple "no politics" subreddits block any discussion of it even if it is otherwise relevant to the sub.
We need to stop with this "who do you believe" takes. Science is there to be understood, not believed. The whole point of it is to be discussed and to be okay with any hypothesis to be wrong.being wrong in Science is still a valid reportable result. On the other hand in Politics people get entrenched and refuse to even contemplate that they are wrong.
By assigning politics label to the issue we automatically create "sides".
It usually resulted in a long sentence.
When you feel recharged afterwards.
Specifically on Twitter, I feel like mean spirited jokes about shorter menβs height are all over the place. Why is that tolerated - even embraced - and how is it not considered body shaming?
Iβm 20M and my best friend is a work buddy whoβs 35M. My family, coworkers, and other friends think itβs really weird since weβre so far apart in age but heβs taught me so much in the last 2 years. He gives me advice about life, my future, family, and has always said βlife is short, so do what you want to do.β And itβs helped me a lot with not focusing on judgement of other people.
He has a wife and kids and Iβve met them; theyβre very sweet. We have a similar sense of humor and he says he sees a lot of himself in me. Heβs helped me more than my family members have in regards to school, mental health, and just somebody to talk to.
While he does see me as a βkid still trying to figure himself outβ, he also treats me like an equal. That was the most surprising thing about meeting him.
Of course you should be cautious about older people trying to be friends with you, as they could be manipulative and use you for their βown benefitβ, but the overall sense that friendships have to have an age limit is dumb and should be less stigmatized.

Not super survivally anymore, really. "Hardcore" in that the TTK is 0, sure, but really gear is infinitely replaceable and dying is mostly a minor inconvenience in that I have to reset my kits and sit through load screens, not something to actually care about.
Honestly, I like the potential the flea market provides for moving barter goods where they need to go, but I miss pre-flea Tarkov, where my kits were mostly "what I got" scrapped together from found loot and successful scav runs, with some trader equipment scattered in as I could afford it and it slowly became available.
I expect this to be downvoted, since most of the loud kids here are here for the "hardcore call of duty" experience, but I have really liked this game and needed to get it off my chest. I hope it's just a roadbump in the process of finishing the game; they call it a beta but it's really a public alpha.
Why is it not banned yet? And how do people think that cutting a bit of a babyβs skin is normal?
I usually use circumcision as evidence that the people who wrote the bible were a stupid, barbaric and an illiterate bunch, and people actually think god hates skin and want you to cut it?
This is an example of how religion can just mess up with your mind
If all the land is owned, it's not voluntary at all. You must sell your labor or starve, from the absolute baseline. This is not voluntary. I'm not even allowed to sleep in my car. I have to have enough capital to own land just to not be put in jail for trying to build shelter.
People literally pulled some "finders keepers" shit on an entire continent and we all just accept this, still, 200+ years later. Indigenous populations be damned. They don't get to claim.
Especially after months of no interest and no intimacy.
Just donβt.
