A list of puns related to "Clotrimazole"
i found that my pd was fungal related, as i've been dealing with candida overgrowth for the past couple months. i posted before about my progress, but recently i found i was just getting some little bumps again here and there. figured it must be fungal because of everything i've been dealing with internally, so decided to give clotrimazole a try, as i've heard amazing things about lotrimin but we don't have that brand where i'm from, so i got some generic 1% clotrimazole cream. i've been using it morning and night and my face has had no new flare ups since.
here's some of what i think has helped me:
my naturopath told me to basically overload my body with zinc and vitamin a so i have been taking 6 vitamin a's a day, and 4 zincs a day, 2 in morning, 2 at night.
i've been only using spectro gel to wash my face for the past couple months and it is honestly so gentle and soothing on the face, and never seems to make it flare up, as it's very natural. i have been avoiding moisturizer as i am scared to put anything else on my face in case it disagrees, just while i'm healing.
clotrimazole!!! started using it a couple days ago, still seeing how it's going as it's only been a little while but so far, amazing.
i've been gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free and sugar free for 4 months now. i took a food intolerance test, as my candida definitely lead to leaky gut, so i've been avoiding my intolerances as well. internally i feel great and it's definitely shown on the outside as well.
basically mine had to do with what was going on internally. addressing my gut issues and figuring out what the trigger is was so so important, and i know how frustrating it can be. i wanted to post this because i know how disheartening it can be to feel like this is out of your control and nothing works. i've been avoiding antibiotics because i don't want to mess up my gut even more, so if you're taking the natural route, expect some flare-ups here and there. healing isn't linear, but it is possible, i promise <3
sending love to all of you
My only other options are Amlactin, coconut oil and cocoabutter. It would be a huge help if anyone can tell me if these feed FA? Thanks!
Literally made my face break out with more pustules overnight! Iβm assuming this means mine isnβt fungal but who knows...was hoping it would be holy grail!
Pharmacist here. Got an rx sent over today.. Does anyone know if there is a specific product indicated for ear infections or if the topical solution for the body can he used as an ear drop?
Hi everyone,
It seems I have developed what appears to be a mild case of oral thrush after a round of antibiotics + Symbicort inhaler. I was prescribed Nystatin originally and saw a big difference after only one dose, but had a bit of a reaction to it and had to switch to Clotrimazole lozenges. I was only able to take 2 yesterday due to picking up my prescription later in the day, and today is my first full day of taking 5 lozenges. For those that this treatment worked for, how long after using clotrimazole lozenges did you start to see results? Really hoping this goes away soon!
These three products are typical in the commercial market, but what does one do that the other doesn't? And is effective/safe to use two at the same time? I purchased the miconazole spray and clotrimazole cream.
Additionally, I'm wondering what type of damage do each of these products create on healthy skin? Or do they simply target dead skin, which I understand is where typical athlete's foot fungus grows?
So around a week ago I had no itching and relatively normal discharge, but with some acidic smelling white clumps when I reached into my vagina. I've had them for a while, could see the small clumps while removing tampons etc. but I recently started having sex again so wanted to get rid of them ASAP. I did an at home test and it wasn't BV, so I decided it's a mild yeast infection. I decided to use a 500mg Clotrimazole capsule, which I used in the past for more serious infections and didn't have issues.
The problem is, now, a couple of days later (I put the capsule in on Wednesday night), my vagina and vulva actually itch quite a bit, the discharge got more milky and acidic smelling and there are still white clumps... I also had some very light lower abdominal pain (more like discomfort). Could it all be a side effect of the Clotrimazole? Or something different than a YI? I will contact a doctor about it but I can only call them from tomorrow onwards and after that it will be probably a couple of days before I can get an appointment (also from this doctor I only got advice to use Clotrimazole in the past so I don't expect much). Is there something I can do to improve the situation in the meantime? I ordered boric acid (helped me a lot in the past) but again, it will take a while before they deliver it. I used some coconut oil in desperation and it actually helped a bit, but I'm unsure if I should continue with that or just suffer until all of the Clotrimazole is removed from my body
(F25) usually fit and well and have no medical conditions. Only long standing issue is with facial acne that's now under control.
I have been trying to sort this issue myself and I know it must be fungal acne on my chest. The spots are tiny pin prick sized, red and are itchy. Normally appear in a cluster, it is only on my chest area. I have never suffered from body acne and I've always been active generally. I have ramped up my workout routine, which I think has sparked this off. I shower right away after any exercise and I wear moisture wicking clothes. I wear cotton t shirts and I don't apply any moisturiser to my chest area. I have been using anti fungal cream clotrimazole 1% on my chest twice a day, everyday for over 2 weeks, while it helps existing spots go away within a day or so. It isn't helping from spots reoccurring, would it be wise to try an oral antifungal medicine I can buy OTC here in the UK to try next alongside the topical cream? I have heard the usage of Nizarol or selsun shampoo on the area, but my skin is super sensitive and I fear I may have a allergic reaction so have not tried these yet. The body wash I use is very basic and I haven't changed it in years. Any advice would be great, I have not been to my doctors about this as it is extremely hard to get an appointment with my GP, so I only go if it's urgent. While this is not urgent, it hasn't gone away after dealing with it for 5-6 months now. I'm very embarrassed and would love for this to go once and for all. Thanks again.
I want to start using Clotrimazole to see if itβll permanently get rid of my mild PD, but I want to make sure itβs safe for sensitive skin and if it is actually effective.
My PCP has me using clotrimazole. My web research doesn't find any indication that it is for toe nail fungus. I suspect Lotrimin might be their go-to treatment for all skin fungus. Before I become one of those patients who questions their doctor's treatment, I'm wondering if anyone has used clotrimazole.
I am dealing with my 2nd PD flare up. Antibiotics aren't working and I read a post about trying clotrimazole as many people have found it to be their solution to PD. I have been applying it for 2 days now but my the skin around my mouth has become more red and flakey. Is this normal?
UPDATE: I have been using clotrimazole for almost 4 days now and it has almost completely cleared up my PD. I have some yellow scabs / crusting around my mouth but the redness has completely gone and the cream has also got rid of the itchiness and bumps
