Hi all, I'm quite new to fermenting things. But I have bought chioggia beets. I've been looking for recipes how to ferment them but they all say something different. Pre cook the beets, with or without vinegar, amounts of salt etc. I just want nice beets for in a salad or on a burger. Does anyone have a recipe I can follow? Thanks very much!
Have a ton of Marina Di Chioggia seeds, looking for other cute squashes. I already have butternut + sugar pumpkin seeds and lumina (not looking to trade)
I have a few vegetable garden seeds for trade:
- Lincoln sugar snap peas
- Chioggia beets
- Little gem lettuce
- Three-color bean mix (park seed)
- Early scarlet radish
- Golden guardian marigolds (bred to be nematode and pest-resistant, good for companion planting!)
- Catnip
- German chamomile
- Luffa gourd
Iโm looking for some of the following:
- Yarrow
- Sweet alyssum
- Sunflower (preferable not F1 - would love to grow and save seeds)
- Echinacea
- Bachelor buttons
- Strawflower
Iโd also be open to any other flowers, herbs, or vegetables. Iโm working in a small space, so Iโd even be up for a mini-trade of a small number of seeds, depending on what youโre looking for!
Ciao tutti, my SO and I are looking for the most beautiful beaches and places around here. Beach -> preferrably not as crowded as Sottomarina. Even better, almost no people.
We have a car so a bigger range than let's say 10-15km is no problem. We've already been to Venezia a few times btw.
Any pointers are highly appreciated. :)
