Over here (Ireland, UK) it's common to call all channels confirmed on a line check a 'FullHouse'
Are there similar expressions in your part of the world?
New redditor. Wondering if anyone knows. Will the amount of karma you gain change as time goes on. Like is there a multiplier of some sort? Or is it on a post by post/comment by comment basis?
I've met some conservative and some orthodox change-overs and they always respect my decision to have become more religious than I grew up. (I grew up secular). While a lot of the born Jewish men I meet will often make fun of the fact that I now celebrate shabbos. Because of this experience I am more than happy to date a change-over jew. How do I find them?

Is there a minimum amount of time you have to have off before night shifts? Or is it just the minimum 48 hours post long night shifts. I’m rota’d onto night before and after changeover with just 2 days off and I can’t find any Rhian specific about time off between night shifts. Thanks!
HVAC tech here, have someone who has a very niche requirement that I'm struggling to find a thermostat that fits the bill.
System is a 2 stage heat-pump paired to a 2 stage gas furnace, so W, W2, Y, Y2, O, and G are a must. They want both WiFi *AND* auto change-over mode for both heating and cooling, and auxillary heat changeover provided via an outdoor thermistor. When I installed this system I ran an 18/12 feed to the thermostat, so wire count is not an issue here.
So far I've come up with the FocusPRO 8000 as my only choice and I would personally never install one for a customer unless they requested one. I've only had nothing but problems with them. Customer, said they're fine with whatever I install so long as it's not a Nest. I'm considering recommending an ecobee, any techs care to comment on if they're good or not?
it's often that one reads that a side being upwind of the other held the advantage but how did it work? the wiki claims that it allowed the upwind ship to maneuver more easily but how?
also did it change with the switch to steam? I'm reading a book on WW1 and it refers to the lee side as the advantageous side and "lee" means downwind. For example, it writes that Hipper "enjoyed the lee gauge" against Beatty at Jutland which allowed him to knock out British battlecruisers. Why was the lee side better at Jutland? is it because the ships upwind lose visibility because the smoke from their own smokestacks gets in their way so they can't find the range?
I’ve been having problems lately with throwing things/paper across the classroom but I can’t pinpoint exactly who it is. Any ideas for dealing with this?
Also end of lesson changeover is carnage with kids entering and leaving classroom (books, glue sticks pens, signing reports etc). Any ideas for managing this? It just feels crazy. It doesn’t help that we are still in year group bubbles so I am running around the school as well
I’ve attempted to make a tire appointment over the past two weeks with no luck. Three of the shops I finally got through told me that they are so understaffed that they can only schedule so many appointments. If you don’t call right at 8am and get through in the first ten minutes at the other shops, you will be out of luck. This sucks for many reasons, but I’m also nervous about driving because I wonder how many other drivers are still using non stud/winter tires…the last thing I want to happen is to get in an accident and land in a severely swamped hospital. End rant. If anyone knows of a shop that’s got openings, I’m all ears!

I was looking for more books by Diana Wynne Jones, and I discovered the first book she wrote, Changeover, which looks really good.
BUT: I can't read Changeover, because I can't find any e-book, new copy, or second-hand copy, anywhere. The only thing I found was an out-of-stock £300 listing on Amazon.
Does anyone know anywhere I might find a copy?
hey there, everybody. recently got a new Tektronix SPG 700 to replace a very old Tektronix SPG-170A. i tried simply switching the input on my sync DA from the old sync gen to the new one, but had noticeable sync issues on air. i’m using the BLACK output on both sync gens, both of which are showing 525i 59 on my phabrix. we have AJA FS1s on most of our equipment, set to receive reference from the reference input. i can’t think of anything i might be overlooking here, as this is my first time dealing with setting up a sync generator. any ideas from you guys? your help is always appreciated!

Okay quick mini Idea that I don't have much evidence for but it semi explains all the brutes and weapons votes this seasons.
All the funding and wepon votes have been controlled by the Space monkey skin. And because he's a spacemonkey who's to say he didn't bring wepons and brutes for the Chapter 1 island.
Then he made his way here (took him a while) and gave us old wepons to fight the Queen. (Or wepons IO have restricted)

I also have theory in the back of my mind i would like to start chapter three of with . Any teasers that come around I will also break them down when I get to them (I need sleep). My husband and I are just now sitting down (I know, I know) to go over this merger. Been banking with BBVA for 20 years but we’d been thinking about making a change anyway, as BBVA customer service had really seemed to go downhill the last couple of years. We’ll obviously become PNC members either way because we’re so late to the game on this, but we also want to make the smartest financial choices - we have checking, savings and my business account currently. We refinanced our mortgage last summer with RFCU and that was a pretty seamless process. We’re not familiar with them from the banking side. Does anyone have any pros/cons with RFCU, or does anyone have any other bank they highly recommend? Primarily interested in easy-to-use mobile banking, free checking accounts, good return on savings accounts, attentive customer service and flexible business account policy.

Has anyone had a genny changeover installed recently? If so how much should I budget for?
I'm not willing to plug my generator into the house via a plugpoint even though I know how to do it safely, it just isn't worth the risk if someone else happens to meddle with it.
I'm in Johannesburg for reference and it's a 5kW genset.
