hi guys, I know this photos are not hd and the labels of the cephalometric analysis are in Italian, but what do you guys think about my profile xray.
my main concerns are about improving soft tissue support, not having a negative canthal tilt and good cheekbones (i also need rhinoplasty so bad).
And the most important question: is my maxilla recessed?

Hi,
I recently went to a max fac surgeon to discuss jaw surgery. I had been told back when I was a kid that I was a borderline case for jaw surgery (I had a skeletal underbite). My underbite was fixed, or at least dentally camouflaged. I've recently experienced problems with my bite, my teeth in back no longer touch and my front teeth are chipping. I saw an orthodontist who stated that my ceph x ray was a little unusual. According to him my jaws are recessed, not enough to disrupt my airways (in fact my airways look fine according to the ortho), however, if I wanted to seek a 2nd opinion from a max fac, I could do so. The max fac analysed my ceph. He thinks a sliding genioplasty would improve my profile, however, bimax would likely be a step too far. I do see from the numbers he provided me that I deviate quite a bit from the norm on certain measurements (S-L mm, Y-Axis length, Upper lip to e-plane, etc...). Could somebody here explain to me exactly what this means in layman's terms? And also I do notice that my occlusal plane is very flat, is this an issue I should be concerned about?

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!

There are two clinics, one is more expensive but asks me for a panoramic x-ray, cephalographic x-ray, cephalometric analysis. But there is another cheaper clinic that only asks me for a panoramic x-ray. In which one do I get braces?
