In other words, what 5 fruits and/or vegetables eaten in a day or put into a smoothie provide the most, or greatest variety of, nutrients and minerals?
I'm an RT student about to graduate this May from a school in RI, looking at jobs in Massachusetts. I've found that at least in this part of the country, even though intubation is part of the scope of practice RT's pretty much never do it. I've spoken to some other RT's who have worked in other states and some colleagues who explain that the scope is much broader in other states, ranging from regularly intubating patients to placing A-Lines.
As a novice and medical enthusiast, I want to get as much experience as possible in these first years, and because I'm able to move anywhere in the country, I figure why not find a level 1 trauma center in the state that grants RT's the most freedom to practice.
So I'm wondering: what's the best way to compare the expectations for an RT state to state (accounting for individual hospitals different policies and such). Should I look up the legal outlines from the states licensing department? Does the AARC or NBRC have a "list"?
Besides the legal scope though, I'm curious what all of you therapists across the US are expected and able to do in your states and hospitals. What has your experience been and where would you recommend a new grad start out?
In a perfect world, there would be a lot of steampunk products that I could buy and share with my fellow nerds. By purchasing those products, we would be supporting creators and we would do business with a community of businesspeople who would manage the infrastructure needed for a large and growing base of steampunk fans. The large fanbase would inspire creators to redouble their efforts and a virtuous cycle of retrofuturistic art would result.
So I am obsessed with enjoying steampunk, but I find it is hard to secure a steady stream of steampunk entertainment that can be enjoyed passively. Just trying to build a website or a mailing list to catalog and celebrate available steampunk art/products can take a surprising amount of time and effort.
In practice, if I manage to get a normie to look at some steampunk product or artwork, the normie might be interested for a few seconds, but then might drift away to watch whatever is getting hyped by NetFlix. So it seems hard for me to recruit ordinary TV-watchers and computer-gamers into steampunk. Also, I am not going to sink a lot of time into trying to produce my own art. It's like having an absinthe addiction, except more pathetic and less sociable.
The steampunk aesthetic inspires a lot of creative people: cosplayers, artifact makers, musicians, fiction writers, etc. I don't think steampunk inspires a steady stream of consumers. Consuming some steampunk sci-fi requires a lot less effort than creating steampunk art. Even so, the lack of material produces a vicious cycle: people don't see enough steampunk art, so potential customers spend money on different products, which inspires potential creators to stop creating art, which worsens the scarcity of art. You can try to learn marketing skills to promote steampunk, but it turns out marketing stuff on the Internet can be very hard work. If you try to put out a blog to promote a class of products, you may find your time and energy getting devoured by the need to produce timely, polished, frequent blog posts.
If we want to grow the potential audience as much as possible, I think the best strategy is to put the largest possible quantity of content onto a wiki. My reasoning is that unlike a marketing blog, a wiki does not necessarily sell itself on timely and frequent updates. T
... keep reading on reddit ➡I'm a session musician who hates drive pedals. I don't play much guitar and when I do, it's usually pretty clean. But, with some slightly rockier gigs on the horizon, I finally need to invest in some good OD.
I have a SSS Strat and a Kemper, and I do everything except the super heavy stuff. Although if that's an available sound, that's fine too. Ideally I'm looking for two sounds - low gain and medium gain, doing everything from blues to modern rock.
Pedals I've owned/tried:
Strymon Riverside: This one isn't for me. It sounds great but it doesn't sound the way I want it to, no matter how much I tweak the EQ (also I cba with a three-band EQ on an OD). Plus the Favorite setting is annoying with it being super difficult to simply tweak volume, and it has a high power draw. The MIDI is cool though.
Boss Blues Driver: Nah. A bit fizzy and thin for me.
RYRA Klone: Got me very excited initially and that mid hump gives it a lovely push. Needs to be tweaked a bit per amp though and it sounded pretty crap through a Vox profile (double mid boost causing an issue I suspect). Amazing on Fenders. It's a contender.
Barber Electronics Gain Changer: I'm getting some really versatile sounds out of this thing! Small enclosure, does low and high gain well, sounds good after the Klone. Another contender.
Other pedals I have on my list to try are the Strymon Sunset, Source Audio LA Lady and Wampler Tumnus. But with so many drive pedals out there I'm getting swamped. What are your thoughts?
UPDATE: This has been an excellent discussion, thanks to everyone for their answers! If you're stumbling on this post in the future, I went for the Nobels ODR-1 as my drive (it had a nice range from mid-humpy to transparent), and I'm using an Xotic Effects EP Booster to get a slightly higher-gain sound as my second drive tone.

So, there are many economic models, some has broader range of application than others. Well, which one is has the broadest range? (Backed up with most amount of experimental evidence)
Just wondering. It’s easy to find lists like, “these are the amiibo that work with the most games” and “these are the rarest amiibo!” But I’m having a hard time finding lists of like, “these amiibo actually really benefited the gameplay experience” I’m talking specifically about stuff like the wolf link amiibo that adds wolf link to BotW. Like, cool stuff.
Apologies, found it difficult to formulate a decent question title for this, so hopefully I can explain it a bit better here.

That list is by no way exhaustive, but hopefully it paints a picture of the sort of questions I had in mind. I could understand how looking at these massive concepts all of the time could prompt a feeling of insignificance and potentially even dread in those seeking to answer them.
So my question is;
Is there a specific type of depression or anxiety that could be triggered by attempting to comprehend these subject matters? and if so, does it have a specific name? and is it something that is common in certain professions?
I saw this video of a marines' explanation of mindset in another group where stereotypes are often repeated. Of course, some knights and warriors were ruthless, but as far as I'm aware, they were also warned against violence for its' sake and acting like a frat boy (Vadi: he who wants to fight too much, in one thousand at least once will soil his luck ... he thinks high things which are low, and often clashes), that the focus of war was more on gaining renown, glory, coin, and that they had what some could call PTSD. But, I wanted to get a more balanced picture of the mindset of medieval 'warriors' (possibly, outside of romanticized stories that not everyone may have read or know) from people who could point me to other sources I'm not aware of, and would know what (if anything) the treatises tell us. I've already posted in r/AskHistorians, and Google hasn't come up with anything specific. Edit for clarity: If it's not apparent, I'm trying to treat the topic with respect, and avoid generalizing, or approaching this question with an immature attitude.
