Just wondering where the steel/fighting/ground requirement is coming from. I feel historically Boulder badge was utilizing rock types(single or dual typed), but in the current style rock types are so bad they arent even used...
Hey, I'll be going to the red at some point in the next couple of months and I'm wondering if there are any short, bouldery routes (like 3-4 bolts roughly) in the 11a to 12a range? What would you recommend?

beginner climber here... I was watching an Adam Ondra video and he described the beginning of a route as pumpy and the end as bouldery. What exactly does he mean by that?

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
