A list of puns related to "Unsmooth"
As the title says. Given that I havenβt put in my 100 obliged hours into the game yet, initially I find the controls very disruptive and not smooth at all. Im talking about moving around the aim for ps4. Itβs janky and herky jerky. Maybe thatβs a built in feature. And no, Iβm not talking about upgrading and being able to have a better aim. Itβs about the feel of the aiming feels really clunky.
Given that I have played a lot of L4D2 (on pc) which was great. And WWZ on ps4.
I understand that FPS games and KB+M is the best, but stillβ¦ just so unsmooth π€·π½ββοΈ
Anyone else on ps4 feel the same?
But loving the 2-3 hours so far, even though Iβm totally lost π
I don't know if it's due to 1% fps or not, but I don't have any reason to get input lag and it feels like it's very unsmooth, and janky. The strafing feels very bad too. Anyone else?
I'm running a 3070 (140W) Ryzen 7 5800H 32GB RAM, game is on an SSD.
Also DLSS does practically nothing for me. Makes the game look worse and pretty much no fps gain.
On my Side last update hit my Gameperformance hard. From 100-120 stable Fps to 70-90 with drops down to 38. New Event made it even worse. Unsmooth gameplay, stutters while infights etc.
My Solution:
Deinstalled all Nvidia Drivers and Features (Experiance, Nvidia Frameview, Nvidia Audi Driver, Nvidia Physx) and all Folder found on my Maindrive manuell. Went back to VGA standart Driver. After that reinstalled Nvidia Driver Version 496.49 (last one installed 497.09).
After 2 hours of gameplay no Problems anymore. Hope this may help one or another who allready tried other workarounds.
Have a nice day
Hello!
I get constanst 144 fps when I play fortnite but my game is really unsmooth and choppy, it feels like I'm playing on 40 fps even though I have 144 fps and a 144 hz. Is there anything I can do to stop this?
Hello there!
Ever since maybe the CW integration my game started running choppy af, and even though it says 90 FPS it feels like 20 at best.
For a long time I had stopped playing Warzone or just barely, instead playing multiplayer MW where I had 100+ FPS with no such issues (unless a Dragon's Breath round is fired).
I have watched countless videos, read countless posts throughout all this time, tried so many optimizations, managed to get it smoother but never as it was before in the MW seasons.
I play on an Alienware 17 R5 laptop, connected to a 144hz MSI monitor. My R5 has an i78750H, 16GB 2400MHZ RAM, 1070 GTX 8GB, with 2 SSDs and a HDD.
Here's some of the optimizations I've done:
Using ISLC
Disabled HPET
High performance power plan and in general all power-related options in Windows and NVCP are set for max performance
No xbox game bar/windows game mode
No overlays (Discord, Nvidia)
No background apps/bloating software
Set CPU to its factory overclock of 4 GHZ
Game is on SSD
Removed page file from HDD and set it to my 2 SSDs only
Forwarded Warzone ports
Videomemoryscale to 0.5 and Rendererworkercount to 3 (half my cpu cores) in adv.options.ini
Now, even after I had done all this, Warzone still wasn't running smooth despite 60+ FPS, it looked like 20 or 30 at best. Also my FPS would sometimes drop to 45 especially in Downtown.
I tried capping it to 60, 70, 80, 90, 100 with RTSS. When I capped it to 80 or 90, the overall smoothness would increase, but it would still get microstutters often and still nowhere near my original experience with this game.
THE SOLUTION and what fixed it finally and (I hope) permanently, was rolling back drivers to a specific version.
This is something I had already tried before too and it didn't work. I used DDU to wipe everything and clean install a driver I googled was "best for Warzone". That was Nvidia Game Ready driver 471.96.
After that didn't work, I didn't bother trying others and I slowly accepted that my game will always be fked.
What finally worked was clean installing NVIDIA DRIVER 442.59!
Not only is Warzone now running just as smooth as back in MW days, it runs at 90-100+ FPS, it drops to 75-80 only in Downtown, there is no stutter when I shoot or get shot at, it's fucking unreal!!
And not only that, but I used to get max 120 FPS in multiplayer and now I get 130-165 FPS!!! Peaking at 45 frames more than before! Both Warzone and multiplayer MW are BUTTER SMOOTH for me now.
I am
... keep reading on reddit β‘I've updated to 1.18 now and the game feels very unsmooth as it is somehow "insivisbly" locked to 60FPS
My Monitor is turned to 144hz and Minecraft also shows I have 500+ FPS but there is no difference to when I switch to 60 or 144FPS. Vsync is also turned off, it's only happening in 1.18
(also the game has a blackscreen for 5-10 seconds when I tab out or in so if anyone can tell me how to fix that too it would be nice)
Havent played in ages and coming back to the game my mouse input specifically feels incredibly unsmooth.
I have tried turning raw input on/off, vsync on/off, limited fps, tried vulkan and directx, still no fix. Any ideas ?
Hi!
Got the Digitakt: Love the Digitakt!
But all of a sudden on of the encoders gets less "smooth" at around a 180 degree knob turn...? Is almost feels like the Digitakt fell on it and this encoder got just slightly askew...
I feel an urge to use a little bit of WD40 but am not sure if I will damage even more with it.
Anyone got the same and better: a solution?
Hey. I recently acquired a new GPU. AMD RX 6700XT and I've noticed only in destiny 2 that the game is not very smooth. Even though my FPS is at 144 constantly it still feels very rough and a bit choppy (no fps drops).
Anyone else have the same problem and got a fix? Worked fine with my past Nvidia GPU's and it's only in Destiny 2. BF2042 runs flawlessly.
And tips? Any special drivers?
when i play on the bedrock version of minecraft the camera feels unsmooth just like if i have input delay, even tho java works fine this confirms that the problem isnt a hardware problem , am not 100% sure but i think also the keyboard and the mouse are delayed
Before i go into details, don't reply if you dont trust me and think im just crazy. Thanks.Alot of people is having this issue, but doesnt seems to fix it... never
-I've had 4-5 gaming pc's, all with same issue.
-Lived in 5 different appartments around Copenhagen.
-Troubleshooting this problem for over 10 years
Problem:Pc becomes unsmooth, not responsive, feels delayed, games shows 500fps @ 144hhz, but feels like 30hz.
Every game is unplayable, competetive-wise.
BUT!
Whenever i try out a new fix, for example.. new ram sticks, windows tweaks in regedit or reinstalling windows. It becomes smooth for a day or two.
I can clearly feel the difference, when starting up pc, and moving mouse around desktop.
Internet is 1000/200mbit, so pings are fine.
RIG atm: RTX 3070, Ryzen 7 5800x, 16gb ram. 144hz asus
Question is..
"Why does my pc becomes smooth after a fix and bad the next day?"
I really appreciate help, but :)
- Dont post like "try put vsync off" or anything near that pls.
Edit, tried LatensyMon..
"Your system seems to be having difficulty handling real-time audio and other tasks. You may experience drop outs, clicks or pops due to buffer underruns."
I had this problem for so long almost 2 years now but recently i built a brand new pc : ryzen 5 3600 , 16 gb 3000 mhz ram , gtx 750 . I get "good" fps (144+ fix). The problem is that the game is just not smooth the animations are so choppy and sped up even tho i have 144 hz monitor , i have bad hit registration , the aim is inconsistent the recoil is impossible to control. I can even feel that my mouse is inconsistent in windows when im browsing the internet.
Things that i have tried:
New mice and mousepads
Reinstalled windows 10 thousand times
Uninstalled different programs that could affect the input lag
Different csgo console commands and no its not from the config maybe i could upload it somewhere if anyone want to see it.
I will try to respond to everyone in the comments . Please help
Hi All,
Pretty new to being a bike owner and to bike maintenance. Forgive me if my terminology is off.
I just began to feel a slight grinding/unsmooth feeling in my bike's steering. My first thought was that the the fork/steerer needed a clean and some grease. Is my intuition right?
I'm trying to remove the fork in order to clean/grease and it won't budge. I tried lighting tapping it with a hammer to no avail (i don't own a rubber mallet). Any tips here?
Upon inspection it seems there is a bit of rust in the components around the steerer. I bought this bike brand new about a month ago and have cleaned it twice since. What could have caused this?
Thanks in advance!
Hello everyone, I will try to make this as quick as possible. Please try to give me some insight because Im losing my mind over this issue. No matter if I cap my fps at 144 (my monitors refresh rate), 160 or leave it uncapped, my game feels super unsmooth (as if im on 100hz). FIrst I will list my specs and then everything that I have tried.
PC Specs:
GPU - RTX 2070
CPU - i5 10600k
RAM - 4x8GB 3000MHz
PSU - 850W
MOBO - z490
Storage - SSD (Where Fortnite is installed), 1TB HDD, 250GB HDD
What I have tried so far:
- rendering mode: directx11 with fullscreen optimisations off, directx12, performance mode
- monitor settings: Vsync off/on, motion blur reduction off/on, response time slow, normal, fast
- updated windows and graphics card drivers
There's a bunch more things I have tried but cant remember of the top of my head. Also, I dont know if I need motherboard and cpu drivers and could the problem be my cable or something? Im connected via display port. I will write an update of results on other games as soon as I download some.
I live in EU (Denmark) and have a good ping ranging from 30-60ms, but I recently (around 3-6 months ago), started noticing that my games feel stuttery. The Packet Loss icon shows up quite frequently in games like R6S and Overwatch
I am facing the following issues very frequently in all games I play:
Link to video showcasing the issue: https://youtu.be/d04V0MC9GaU
Here is the timestamps for the most obvious and visible stutters. Watch in 0,25x Speed to easier notice the skips/stutters.
0:06: The ball is lagging a lot
0:10: ALL three characters infront of me lag
0:16: The Pharah lags a LOT at the apex of her jump
I have done a Pathping test to the Overwatch EU Server, since this is the game I experience the most issues in: https://imgur.com/a/mGN67Ba
Overwatch EU Server IP: 185.60.114.159
I have tried using gaming VPNs like wtFast and Exitlag to see wether it reduces or fixes the Packet Loss, but sadly no improvement at all! While using wtFast it showed the following monitoring which confused me since it states that there is jitter and spikes but no Packet Loss? https://imgur.com/a/EtOdDax
I have done a Pathping using the Mullvad VPN to switch my location from Denmark to Sweden, this seems to have decreased the amount of Packet Loss in Pathping and ingame, but the Packet Loss and Stutters is still VERY noticeable ingame. Pathping test with VPN to Sweden: https://imgur.com/a/kdRahIc
I have contacted my ISP (Fibia) and so far they haven't written back with anything useful.
Sometimes when I play I feel like the game isn't smooth.
It's running on 260+ fps with good frametimes on a 144hz monitor
It's weird because I can tell that it's on 144hz from moving the mouse around, but I also see smearing/micro-stuttering like you see on lower hz screens.
This doesn't seem to happen in other games, just siege.
Hey guys,
I just got a new M1 MacBook Pro and I'm using a Magic Mouse 2 and the overall UI experience is pretty...laggy. Everything loads up pretty quick and the system itself has no performance issues at all CPU/GPU wise while monitoring it. But the whole experience seems very choppy when scrolling or moving windows around. Also the Magic Mouse 2 feels very laggy and "behind" while using the system. I also monitored the frames per second while using basic things like safari and doing things in Logic X and it seems like the frames of second are swaying between 20-50 fps the whole time and whenever they go up it feels like way better and on point.
Is this just a subjective feeling of mine or is there something going on which I don't know about and Big Sur just feels a little bit off for everyone. I also find it somehow weird that the FPS, while using the the normal UI, always go down to 25 FPS or so. You can't have a smooth feeling at this frame rate.
I just wonder if I'm alone on this or if this is a known issue. I kinda expected more from a freshly installed OS on a new well-performing machine graphics wise. Tasks and processor performance is outstanding though.
Should there be a creaky, friction-like noise when leaning back on the Leap v2? It seems like something is binding and sticking against the adjustment mechanism. Perhaps that's normal for the Leap?
Ive noticed that the kar98k has an unnaturaly slow fire rate wich can get you killed alot and looks pretty weird because after every shot there is like a half second pause after the bolt can be cylced again It would be pretty cool if this could be fixed in the next update since playing the kar98k is not really fun anymore. I dont necessarily want a higher fire rate (but id still welcome it alot) but smoother animations. A good compromise in my opinion would be that the quicker you cycle your bolt the less accurate you become if that makes sense kinda like in red orchestra 2.
