A list of puns related to "Booking Agent"
I had vehicle issues and arrived late at Denver Downtown Hyatt place but the woman at front desk refused to check me in. I was so tired and asked if there was anyway she could let me in. She said, โYou will be charged for two nights because you were late.โ After I called an agent to complain about the issue; they connected me to her again. She mentioned that she already did her audit. I talked to the manager but I feel like he would sweep it under the rug. On their website it mentions that late checkins are allowed. Who else can I talk to about this?
Just to clarify few details: exact location is Hyatt Place Denver/Downtown; I made the booking with Hyatt customer service agent (didnโt use third party site) and got confirmation email from hyatt@t1.hyatt.com.
Edit: clarification above.
Is there a way to connect with local venues online? Like Submithub but for venues instead of playlisters?
Wow! This company is on some heavy drugs. In the UK they claimed โWe are a booking agentโ.
As an owner of an Livery Service in Los Angeles I use Black Lane for my traffic. They are a booking agent.
They offer me rides, I pay them a monthly access fee to access the service, and a small fee to process credit cards.
My business is commercial with a TCP license and commercial insurance.
They donโt:
Allow guests to leave reviews
Take false reports about my drivers
Threaten my business
Threaten to deactivate me, my business or drivers
Take 56-70% of each fare
Make my drivers take pictures of themselves
Have cancellation rates
Have acceptance rates
They handle my traffic. We are in control of which rides we will take.
Uber and Lyft are smoking some serious crack.
Just wait, the Federal Government is going to get them for Payroll Taxes.
Ok so first off, itโs overwhelming but the more and more I come here on this message board, go on YouTube , and ask some friends, I feel like maybe I can plan on my own, but I donโt wanna miss anything and I heard travel agents can also suggest things youโve never heard of and help with dining reservations .
Anyway my questions are :
Thank you!!!
Oh and Also if you planned yourself, what exactly are the main points you have to do? Hotel? Park tickets? Dining? And transport? Sorry for all the questions. But I appreciate you all and this sub.
Hey everyone, title sort of is self explanatory, but for a little context I play in a prog band, extended range AAL/Contortionist style stuff. I personally handle a lot of the business side of the band in addition to pre-production and booking and all of that. I would really like to pass along the show booking/publicity to someone who does that sort of thing professionally, obviously for a fair price. But not having done this before I'm curious what people who do this or have dealt with this have to say. My scam radar is hypersensitive so I sort of have a very skewed perspective on what and what not to trust, if a flat monthly fee, or percentage of sales, or contract style where I pay them per show/appearance they book, etc. is the most viable/common option. Would love any insight the sub has to offer, thanks!
So recently I had a friend approach me and tell me he's looking for some help with booking venues and networking with people/rappers in the industry. I've worked with him before (I used to throw silent disco sound clashes and he would come compete) and he really thinks I would be able to help expand his territory.
While I don't explicitly have experience in this area, I have thrown my own events and lead promotional teams. He said he was happy to compensate for whatever events I secure for him.
I'm interested in this, because he's my friend but because the experience sounds cool, but how do I go about doing this? I would like to get paid to some degree, if that's even an option for something new like this. Thoughts? Has anyone been in a position like this before?
Thank you!
It is in the interest of insurance company to get/keep you protected.
Just curious if anyone books cruises through a travel agent at this point? If so, do you feel like youโve gotten better deals that way? Iโve gotten a couple quotes over the years but always seemed to end up at a better price booking through the cruise lineโs website.
First time planning to book a Cruise trip after getting the following Amex offer- $350 statement credit after $1000 spent on Royal Caribbean Cruise booking. Question to the members with more experience in cruise vacation:
It seems that I can prepay gratuity on a $800+ trip to bring it to $1000+ to trigger the offer when using the cruise website. Fine print about this offer did not mention about gratuity, so hopefully I should not have any trouble to get the credit right?
How to make sure the charge runs through cruise line. And can the travel agent add prepaid gratuity on the ticket amount to ensure a $1000+ transaction.
Also, I read a vlog that says I should book through cruise website and transfer to travel agent within 30 days to get more benefits.

Being a newbie, I did not understand this, and if someone can explain it will be very helpful.
Many thanks!
Iโm in a band that has really struggled to find shows having only played three this year. We play mostly classic rock with a few hard rock songs thrown in. I learned of a local booking company that claims to be able to give us as many events as we can handle but Iโm concerned about whether or not itโs legit? My question is do most successful bands use a booking agent and if so how to pick the right one?
Silly question, but generally, when you book out with your agent should you also be booking out dates youโre working on other gigs you booked or do agents keep track of that?
