A list of puns related to "Bicycle Rollers"
Hi all,
Winter is here(ish), and I was looking into getting a roller for a workout. It seems as if, however, rollers are more for an exercise in balance; the resistance provided by the rollers is minimal.
Can anyone chime in on if rollers would be good for a workout?
Release: sometime in late 90s to mid 00s. I want to say that I played it on PS system, but Iβm not completely sure. You can choose your form of transportation and punch or kick other competitors to knock them down so you can win the race. Any help? (itβs not 1Xtreme or ESPN Extreme games)
Iβd much rather commute to work on roller blades, but I never seen any adults do that.
Hello Reddit,
I am looking for advice on metal finishes.
My project:
I bought a set of Weyless bicycle rollers recently (produced 1970's.) I am going through and servicing everything as there was some corrosion on the hardware, bearings were sticky etc. (Photos below)
The black "drums" on this trainer are steel, with cast aluminum end caps. Not sure how the drums are finished now but there are some scratches and rust is developing in areas. I want to refinish the steel drum portion.
I want a very smooth finish and was thinking of powder coating but a local coating vendor recommend to bead blast and apply a gold zinc plating instead, at a hefty but not unreachable price.. I think this would make the surface too rough.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a smooth, durable coating that would withstand constant, weighted rolling contact with bicycle tires?
Would love to get something that would last another 40+ years. It would be fun to do some crazy colors but durability is the ultimate goal.
Thank you for your time!

... keep reading on reddit β‘So i installed a roller drum on a bicycle i found while driving around to see what would happen. i assumed it wouldn't be driveable and if it did it would do alot of damage with the roller drum. but to my suprise it drives even with 920Kg powered only by muscle. But unfortunately it doesnt seem to deal any damage when i drive into Zombies or the like. Is this intended behavior? I am in one of the latest experimentals dont know the exact version number.
Hello there fellow bikers and owners of an A driving license. I live a bit south of Freiburg, close to France border (if that matter). I've never had a driving license, at all (nor A or B, or whatever). I got sick of pedaling since the area where I live is kind of a hill one and it kinda kills my feet while having to pedal up the hill, so I decided the following:
I have a few questions about those thoughts I have, like follows:
Q1: Can I drive a modified bicycle on public roads without owning a driving A license? If yes, what's the maximum speed limit / cc that I can drive without license?
Q2: It is possible to drive a "roller" (50cc ish, under 50km/h) on public roads, without owning a driving license?
Q3: If I apply for a B driving license and pass the exam, will I be able to drive scooters/rollers/mopeds without having an A driving license? If yes, what's the max cc/speed that I can drive with B driving license?
Q4: Witch will be cheaper? A or one of it's subcategories (A1, A2, AM or however are they called), to be able to drive on 2 wheels around 50km/h?
Thanks a lot guys. Waiting for your reply. "#biker_fistbump"
P.S.: My german language skills are not quite high so passing an driving license exam in germany will be kinda difficult for me (unless I can do it in another language but german).

Hi r/cycling
I've just started my off-season training program. Like last year, I hopped on my rollers. This time, my bike shakes in the fore-aft direction, especially at low speeds. It has never done this before. I'm thinking this may be due to uneven pressure within the tire, but I can't be sure. Also, is this bad for my carbon frame?
Thanks for any and all help
But I guess that wouldn't be as cool as a guy running really hard.
I feel like this should be easier to understand than it is. Why don't you fall over?
I've studied physics, but I've always had trouble with gyroscopic stability and similar things. Can somebody make it easier to understand?
Here's a random youtube video to show what i'm talking about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SUlsHA4IuEA

I'm a beginner to both and don't really know any places for this. I'm down for any place north of escondido (and including it) and south of fallbrook/bonsall/ not camp pendleton.
When I moved to SE Asia, I decided it would be nice to get a small road bike, not only get to and from work, but also enjoy riding on it. I finally got my clipless pedals and gear so I decided to go for my first ride. It ended up being 10.15 miles (16.33 km)! I know it's not a lot but I'm happy with it for being my first ride. I finished with a time of 1 hr and 6 minutes.
Not every fictional universe has humans or human-level creatures as the baseline, and there are stories that focus on much smaller or weaker beings (i.e. insects in Antz and Bee Movie, mice in the Secret of NIMH, LEGO figures in the Lego film franchises, small humans on the islands of Lilliput and Blefuscu in Gulliver's Travels). We might as well be Godzilla to some of these small worlds, and as such, I was wondering what universes your average everyday person could wipe out.
Rules:
Am i the only one who finds chungha's music very underwhelming? I cant get into her discography because her songs are so bland...i really only enjoyed Roller Coaster and Snapping i think.
Also, her recent comeback Bicycle fell really flat, not sure the target audience she was aiming for with the bootleg ariana grande sound. Meh.
Just listened to Rain and Chungha's collab...song was trash.
Perhaps she could use better songwriters and producers for sure.
The general audience on Youtube at least seem to enjoy her music so maybe this is unpopular?
