A list of puns related to "Mudguard"
I just picked up a nice and shiny gravel bike to use as a daily commuter. One thing I am adamant about for this bike is to have fully functional fenders that actually keep my feet clean. But I can't freakin find any that are actually full coverage.
Over the years, I've noticed that the ideal front fender would come down low to the ground in the rear and out in front of the top of the front wheel as much as possible. I was able to effectively create this by using a rear SKS Bluemel attached to the front with the extra stabilization of a front touring rack.
The ideal rear fender would simply come down lower in the rear, at least to the furthest back point on the tire.
Looking at the SKS longblade, they only come in road bike skinny and still aren't quite long enough in the front.
Why are manufacturers selling worthless short fenders and are there any other companies putting out actual full coverage fenders that aren't 1950's chrome? I was looking at the Velo Orange metal ones, but still a bit short in the front even though they have rigidity to support it.
Yay or nay? Do people just deal with the wet butt?
Basically the title. We agreed on a price in September and I signed for it. From my understanding mudguards and wheel locks don't come standard, but when I punch in the VIN number on the Toyota website it has them listed under "port instaled equipment". Can they charge me extra?
Thanks in advance!
There is no full set of mudguards for Bromptons any more, but I'm wanting to add a full set to my B75.
I've seen Condor Cycles seem to have the best price (Β£67.50 for the full set, added separately). I just want to check they're the right parts. Particularly the front mudguard, as it says it's for 2018 onwards; which although my B75 is (it's brand new), I'm guessing it has the old calliper?

I designed a roadbike mudguard for my steel frame road bike. Maybe one of you has also a use for this.

This is really when a 3d printer is handy, mudguard holder of bike was broken, so printed a new one. First time right.

Hopefully an easy question this - what is the best front mudguard for a Karate Monkey built up as a winter mountain bike. Currently running a 2.5 mm 29" tyre on the front so it needs to be wide as well as reasonably long.
Cheers
Looking for an all weather commuter, Belt driven, internal hub gears, mudguards (pre-installed preferable), wide tyres (35-40c), semi upright/relaxed riding, and with options to fit racks. To add to the complexity my work runs the GCI scheme.
Does such a thing exist in the UK market that's in stock currently or are my requirements far too specific?
For context i really like the genesis Brixton but this is chain driven. Have considered the belt drive conversion kit from Veers but don't fancy the additional Β£300+ for the pleasure. My commute is flat and the bike is intended to load up with trips to the shop to and from work.
