We always talk about "Holy shit, these two characters are voiced/played by the same actor," so how about "Of course the actor who played/voicing _____ is playing/voicing _____." Roles that correlate to the actor's past work or experience.
My example is Scarecrow from Injustice 2 voiced by Robert Englund who also played Freddy Krueger. Of course the guy who uses nightmarish abilities is voiced by the guy who kills people in their nightmares.
I plan on making my next character a fisherman, and unlike my past few characters I want to build then from the ground up(my past few have kind of been copies of random builds I saw online). I don't want any 20 page, highly detailed builds, I more want ideas, suggestions, and tips. I know any race or class can be a fisherman, I just want to make the race and class fitting for a fisherman. Sorry if this is to broad of an ask, if you want more specificity, I'll supply it as long as you ask nicely.
2 hours of talk talk and talk, yet it's enthralling. That's what a line in a review says about the film. Sometimes films can be scintillating and beautiful with just the spoken words. Although it's a visual medium, the right amount of acting, a beautiful place like Greece, an ageing couple with two kids, smart writing and all the combined life experiences can bring magic on screen.
Something that happened with this third and last installment of the Before Trilogy. Nobody who watched the first one in 1994 would have thought that Jesse and Celine would be married and there will be a film on how their lives are in 2014, exactly 20 years after they first met!
This feels like Richard Linklater was actually documenting time. The changing paradigm of relationships with it. The shifting priorities, the lost love, the responsibilities, mingling with society, embracing the 'real world' and it's challenges.
Everything seems like a construct. A simulation. A game where humans act exactly the way they have been programmed!
In my humble opinion, nobody would have thought that Richard will make another film after Before Sunrise, because although we might not have been happy with the way it ended, we were sort of happy with the individual choices made by Jesse and Celine.
But by the time Before Midnight ends, you have grown up as an audience too. Your life too has changed with the trilogy. You have aged by 20 years and probably have kids now playing in your backyard.
Which makes you question, would you have done things differently; Before Midnight!
