[CLAIM] Margrave of Baden

I claim Baden as it's a small country I don't know much about and because I'm curious about German history.

During the Antiquity, ancient Baden was occupied by celts and Germanic peoples before being conquered by the Roman Empire during the first century AD. After the Roman Empire's dissolution, it got successively conquered by the Alemanni (3rd century AD) and the Franks (8th century AD). However, Baden became officially a state during the 12th century during which it got divided into two margravates:Baden Baden at the south and Baden Durlach at the north. Baden got severely weakened during the Thirty Year's War (1618-1648) and the expansionist French wars at the end of the 17th century. After a period of prosperity during the 18th century, the margrave Charles Frederik was forced to cede terrorist west to the Rhine to Revolutionary France. The loss of this territory got later compensated by an alliance with France and an expansion of the northern territory (Bodensee). Baden became an electorate of the Holy Roman Empire in 1803 and a member of Napoleon's Confederation of the Rhine three years later after the Empire's dissolution. Finally, Baden was recognized as a member of the German Confederation by the Congress of Vienna in 1814.

The geographic location of Baden in 1814 is at the east of the Rhine, between the Kingdom of France (at the west), Switzerland (at the South), the Kingdom of Bayern (at the east) and the margrave of Hessen (at the north).

My three main plans would be first to develop the industry and the economy, then strengthening my military and finally, on a diplomatic side, develop my geopolitical relationships France and Austria.

Margrave Juro is one of the most badass characters I’ve ever seen.

The way he comes out of the droid, knowing he’s totally outnumbered, and still mops up on those acolytes was incredible. Bonus points for Green lightsaber (with a cross guard!) and awesome mask and robes. Almost as cool as Kanan Jarrus.

I did think that Kara was too OP though and it was a little lame the way the furry guy got converted so easily, but great episode.

[Star Wars: Visions] The Identity Of Margrave Juro

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD FOR β€œTHE NINTH JEDI” EPISODE.

β€œThe Ninth Jedi” introduced us to a world where the Jedi Order and the Sith Orders may both be gone. Lightsabers are a highly-sought-after weapon for prospective students of the Light and Dark Sides of the Force. A man named Margrave Juro has been somewhat secretly building lightsabers in the hopes of restarting the Jedi Order.

But who is Margrave Juro? β€œMargrave” is obviously a title; several characters call him β€œthe Margrave”, so that’s his title. No, I have an idea:

The Margrave is none other than Anakin Skywalker, back from the dead.

My evidence is:

  • A Scar. Both Juro and Skywalker have a thin scar over their right eye.
  • Eye Color. Both men have blue eyes.
  • Fighting Style. Both men seem to have a flair for the dramatic. Anakin has jumped out of a speeder to catch bounty hunters (to use one example), while Juro willingly hid in a droid to catch these new Sith unawares. Both are also rather vicious in combat, with Juro striking hard and fast at his opponents. Anakin was much the same.

As to why: Juro’s motive for rebuilding the Jedi Order is not yet known (take the hint, Lucasfilm). However, if anyone was going to do it, why not the man who infamously destroyed it so many years ago?

Missing: Zino Monsch of Baden, AG. Please keep your eyes out.

Im not sure this type of post is allowed but its important and I saw no rules against it so here goes.

A dear friend of our community has been missing since Friday. He's 21, and shouldn't be off his medication for extended periods of time. He is also presumed to be vastly underdressed for the conditions outside your windows tonight.

He's well known for loving the outdoors all over Switzerland and may very well be anywhere in the country. His family and friends are extremely concerned, as we've witnessed his struggle with mental health in the past few years. Please take a brief moment to read this and glance at his picture. The Aargauer Police would be grateful for any news on his whereabouts or condition. If you may know anything, please call them at 056 200 11 11.
