A list of puns related to "Backache"
I've read that they have to carry out a workspace assessment or something, and a question whether the chair is suitable or not is on there. That seems to be for office workers only though. I can't really find any information whether remote workers are covered by that too.
Can anyone in the know help me out please?
I am 24yo with an aching back so bad that sometimes I cannot sleep because of it. It comes and goes, probably caused by either long duration/bad sitting posture or my weekly workouts.
Was talking about my backache problems to friends my age and they said that they donβt have it. Any idea where I can get it checked out/diagnosed? I was looking for a chiropractor but I saw that in Singapore they are not regulated? Or any place that I can get my back scanned to see what is happening and how to fix it?
I have been doing well for a while and am currently experiencing a mild flare. Typical diarrhea, cramps, nausea, no appetite. The usual suspects.
But I have severe backaches now that come on suddenly. Especially when I go to sleep. They are not like muscle or βwrenched your backβ pain. Itβs more like kidney, sharp or like I am being squeezed.
I went to Urgent Care a few weeks ago thinking that I had a UTI but they ruled it out. Now itβs a month later and still getting them.
I usually donβt bother with gastro guy unless I see blood but this is weird.

itβs been a few months since iβve worked and i was used to 40+ hour workweeks in foodservice, but idk if itβs the nature of the movements at starbucks or i genuinely have gotten out of shape bc my back absolutely killlllss me especially after closing shifts since itβs slower i guess? idk.

Hello, my name Is Claire 24F living in France. I'm a long hauler since last july after my first jab of pfizer... So it's been 6 months. (Never had covid, serology and all my tests were negative) everything started few days after my vax.
I had a myriad of symptoms, brain fog, fatigue like hell, muscles twitching, cramps, pain in my calves, nerve pain, eyes twitching and visual issues, occipital neuralgia, chest pain, costochondritis, numbness in my extremities, nauseas, GI issues, anxiety over the roof, weird taste in my mouth, tinnitus, vertigo, dΓ©rΓ©alisation, insomnia, hair loss, burning sensations, tremors....
Many calmed down.
But for 1 week now, i have an awful backache and painful neck. This Is a long haul symptom ??
Thanks for your answers β€οΈ
After much trying and sending back and trying, got two bras that fit mostly. I cannot put them on myself, and can only wear them when my husband is able to do up the hooks in the back. Even then, the underwires are uncomfortable and they dig into my armpits and I get backaches. Still, it's something, but most days I end up wearing super stretchy cheap sportsbras (wrong size, but can stretch) to keep everything from flopping and calling it good enough. this is bad for my posture and for making clothes look decent.
Decided to try corsets to try supporting from below. They're very expensive, so I tried making one. My first attempt to make one was a dismal failure.
Saw an ad for Corset Story having a sale (buy one, get four free), and decided to order some. You order by waist size; I did that. There were only a few styles that went up to 40 inch waists, so I got two each of a couple styles and one odd one out. They arrived yesterday. I think I should have got the next size down, but I'm not trying to reduce, just support.
I don't know if there is some trick to it; the one I tried on last night, with a lot of help from husband with the back lacing, has the waist snug, but breasts just flop around in the top, even when the top is pulled in until the edges meet (there is supposed to be a two inch gap). I don't think I'm wearing it wrong, but it's not supporting and looks gappy and awkward. I've got k-cup (us sizing) h cup (UK sizing) breasts; I was worried about the top not being big enough, but the problem seems to be the opposite.
I just now managed to struggle into the second style on my own and get it mostly snug; I could not reach well enough to get the top around the chest pulled in well. It was a twenty minute ordeal that brought on a visual migraine. (I'm typing this looking through one eye while the other pretends it's a prism.) I will need help getting the top snug enough, and once it is, how will I get it on and off by myself? I thought I'd be able to get everything adjusted to my size and shape with the cords, and then just open and close the busk to get in and out without having to mess with them anymore, but that does not seem to be the case at all.
I think they will help with the backaches; my back feels supported and my postures is good. My back actually feels better than usual. But the top is unsupportive and loose, and will show terribly under clothing. I just want to be able to put on appropriately-fitted and supportive underthings m
... keep reading on reddit β‘I have bad allergies and due to some things I havenβt been able to use my Zyrtec. Anyone have backaches due to allergies?
Iβm new to Kratom and my husband and myself experience a dull lower back pain when using green Hulu. Weβre fairly new to Kratom n love it but this is concerning. I know itβs not my kidneys etc because I recently went to the ER for a different reason and they ran many tests took X-rays of my abdomen etc. I was told when getting discharged with my paperwork βI should frame my resultsβ Kidneys are superbβetcβ¦by the nurse lol. I also get headaches on it if I donβt drink a ton of water. I know Kratom can cause dehydration. The positive outweighs the negative and I really donβt want to stop taking it. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice ? Should I be concerned? Bad batch or strain? Also, at the most, Iβve taken 20 grams maybe a lil more throughout the day. I donβt use anything else with Kratom. Not sure what to do because I like it it relaxes me and helps me sleep π€
UPDATE: Issue resolved no more back pains. Thank you to all the helpful advice on here. I am drinking way more water. I spread out doses plus take a bit less and Miralax was my savior. Just had to get things moving π
How do all you moms deal with the backache? I donβt have a nursing chair and have to sit on the bed to feed. Canβt sit on the sofa either as my parents are helping us and my dads always in the living room. The backache is getting bad and unbearable even with my husband massaging. How do you moms deal with it?
I have a Boppy, but it isnβt much of a relief.
Update: I talked to my husband. Iβm going to go for a massage first, and then go to my PCP to figure out if I can get a referral for a PT. We think the mattress is also at fault. It was on the cheaper side when we bought it and itβs been 6 years. It could also be the cause. Thank you mommas.
Every time i have a flat-ground session my lower back aches for days after, iβm currently trying to learn the basics and iβm 6 ft 6/heavy so the impact when i land awkwardly is that much worse. Anyone have any advice to centre my gravity more and make it more safe? Or any safety equipment recommendations?
Which's better in price to painkilling ratio? Is codeine not much worse at pain blocking?
Took my first loading dose and within 6 hours my lower back started to ache, ouch! It has now been over 24 hours and I can still feel it, Tylenol does help but I can tell when itβs wearing off, it is super uncomfortable and painful, hard to sleep. Anyone else experience this? If so, any tips or just keep using Tylenol? It looks like it is a symptom of the shot according to the pamphlets they gave me.

I've been sleeping on the leggett and platt combi-zoned pocket coils with a 3" memory foam topper for about 4 days and my back is killing me. I'm going to give it the standard 30 days to see if it works out. But in the meantime, has anyone else had this problem with combi-zoned coils and ended up getting used to it and liking it?
I've ordered a soft talalay topper to replace the memory foam, but I'm worried that it won't fix this, literally, underlying problem.
Also, my hips are on the firm part of the coils. That's how it's supposed to be, right? My partner said my back looked very well aligned when laying on my side with the firm section under my hips. So I guess my back is just getting used to being well aligned?
Anyway, I'm willing to buy a different coil base if I have to, I guess I'm just hoping to hear from someone who hated their zoned coils at first then loved them.
For anyone else who gets backaches after recovering from migraine headache, like the morning after, how do you deal with it?
I tend to like to take some ibuprofen and then go for a walk as soon as I can tolerate it. That moves all the fluids around and seems to help, as it almost always feels better and doesn't relapse when the ibuprofen wears off.
Today, I'm on day 2 of postdrome backache, and while it's better today, and I couldn't even tolerate the walk yesterday, after today's walk it still hurts like I didn't walk. Yesterday it was pain around my lumbar spine, and irritated my sciatic nerve, making pain shoot out in all directions like down my leg and up my back. Today it feels like it is coming from my hips in the SI joint, so I'm sitting on a hot pad.
Does anyone else get this? Are there any other tricks to work this out faster/better?
Why YSK: Most people will grind their teeth at some point and it can cause years of horrible nights sleep, random neck pain, back pain, stress and headaches. (When you known can save you a fortune on pillows, mattresses and chiropractors)
As a stopgap solution a simple nightguard can help, but the teeth grinding is usually caused by an emotional trigger such as stress or anxiety. Not your pillow or mattress...

Anyone else stressed about their backs during the exam? My back always starts hurting around 2/3 and I usually move to the bed to stud :/
