TIL up until 2007, Russian cosmonauts carried a triple-barreled rifle/shotgun hybrid into space, to be used if they landed in the wilderness. Due to ammunition degrading, they now carry regular semi-automatic pistols.

Watch out for this guy, Jakemate. He kills his teammates in Descent, takes all the weapons, and then revives you. He's the reason I ended up fighting 20 zombies on floor 3 with a pistol and a grenade, and our squad was lost because only one guy had automatic weapons.

Automatic Pistol mods that can use anything other than 10mm ammo?
So I spent a stupid amount of time trying to determine what guns I like in fallout 4 (you'd think that'd be easy to figure out).
Turns out the answer is automatic pistols :)
I've got the vanilla 10mm which looks nice, but I'm looking into mods as well. Any recommendations?

Craftable pistol calibre SMGs/carbines could be a neat early game source of automatic fire
Sten guns for example are notoriously easy to be able to craft. There's a bunch of videos and articles on them around the internet showing off their craftsmanship (just be careful with the way you phrase a search about it unless you want the ol' knock knock from the feds on the door, because you know, building an automatic firearm is a felony pretty much anywhere you go unless you have a license).
I know these don't really fit into the game currently considering it's pretty easy to get your hands on actual factory-built firearms but when we see scarcity severely increased towards the end-of-life cycle for the game I think it would be cool to see the Sten and similar low-cost SMGs make it into Tarkov as an alternative to the civvie AKs/shotguns/etc.

Tweaked Automatic Receiver Damage Bonus? (For my Q50c25 10mm Pistol for reference)
How much extra crit damage does a tweaked receiver add to a weapon? I run Better Criticals 3 and was curious on how much extra percent crit damage it adds. I am messing with a Q50c25 10mm Pistol and while I don't run a single pistol card, it can be a beast! I'm just curious if the extra damage from Tweaked is worth it or to just run Powerful Automatic Receiver for the pistol since it'll do more damage if I don't get a crit in on an enemy (which is an extra 4 damage lol)
