I've got a dental practice that is converting their imaging from Apteryx XrayVision 4 to Dexis. Dexis is refusing to do the conversion until we have the existing XrayVision data converted from jpeg to dicom. Apteryx says they don't do that. I've managed to get both company's tech support on a conference call and ended up in the same place.
Does anyone here know of either a method to bulk convert multiple folders of jpeg files to dicom or a company that offers this service? My Google-fu has been lacking.

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.

Iβve had a seedworld concept in mind for a very long time now, and Iβve finally created something vaguely coherent enough to share. The basic premise of apterra is that a failed terraforming/planetary-nature-preserve project results in an abandoned world with a fragile ecosystem and very few native species.
In addition to various algae/microbes/invertebrates/etc, the species introduced on apterra are:
Bouteloua dactyloides (buffalograss) Gambusia affinis (mosquitofish) Aedes aegypti (yellow fever mosquito) Armadillidium vulgare (pill bug) Rattus norvegicus domestica (domestic rat) Apteryx australis (southern brown kiwi) Correlophus ciliatus (New Caledonian created gecko )
The project as it currently exists can be found here. The prologue and first chapter are done but extremely subject to change. While Iβve tried to maintain a decent degree of scientific accuracy, any criticism (however harsh) is appreciated.
I also very much want to ensure that the content doesnβt stray too close to any existing/ongoing projects. While Iβve done my best to keep everything entirely original, any critique on that basis is entirely valid as well.
Overall, Iβd just like some feedback on the early stages before I dive too deep into this. I already have a lot of ideas for this project, but if the consensus is that it sucks I am entirely prepared to start again from scratch.
