A list of puns related to "Aeronautics"
The title is basically it, Iโm trying to knock out a easy degree with good grades to get a favorable slot in the Air Force.
Iโm pursuing one right now, and would like to know what kind of jobs I can get?
Your space agency has decided to branch of into the construction on planes, I mean rockets go up, planes go to the side. It canโt be that hard to make the otherโฆ
#Your task: Design a flying machine with the capability to carry at least one type of armament (Missile, Bomb or MBDA Meteor long range active radar guided missile, for example )
#Difficulty:
-Easy: Design a plane that can sustain flight, with cheats, and with at least one type of armament.
-Medium: Design a plane that can sustain flight without cheats and carry at least one type of armament.
-Hard: Design a plane that can sustain flight without cheats, is capable of VTOL (Vertical Take Off and Landing) And, With the ability to carry at least two different types of armament.
-Impossible: Impress me.

I've just finished my AS in aeronautics with ERAU worldwide. I'm at a crossroads where I can take credit from military service/commercial pilot ratings and finish a BS in aeronautics(21 credits left) or switch to supply chain management(57 credits left).
I have 2 major motivations for finishing a BS. The first is as a backup in the event I am medically grounded from flying. Iโd like to have a decent career field to fall back on. The second is as a check the block for a major airline.
Tuition is covered by the Army and not a factor in my decision. Is a BS in Aeronautics worth it? Would I need to pursue a Masters in the same or another field to find a well-paying job?
Is Supply Chain Management a decent fall back option? The main reason Iโm considering it is that ERAU offers the major, and it appears to be a popular option. Iโm weak at higher level math, and donโt want to consider engineering.
My Background...
I've been working on the C-5 for about 5.5 years as a flight line Crew Chief and flying Crew Chief. Crew Chief at my base basically just change tire, windows, take off panels, and do inspections. I don't work on cars so my only experience with maintenance is working on planes. I don't plan to use this certification until I retire from the military after 20 years. I spent a lot of time looking for reviews, so I want to give that to someone else. Please comment if you have questions or input, so everyone can see. I was planning to come alone, but a friend persuaded me to go with him. Thank god he did, DO NOT GO ALONE!! (more on that later)
Some skills that came in handy for me was being able to read wiring diagrams and removing and installing components I never heard of. Some guys are so specialized being in the military that they never get out of their bubble or work on newer airframe's that don't break often. I'm just lucky I'm an FCC on a C-5. The extra knowledge is helpful, but no needed to pass this course.
My road to this course...
CBT: At first I tried going the 'Air Force CBT' route. Where you read through the AMT book and take mini test on the different sections to get your tickets for the real written test, but that turned out to be really time consuming and the AMT books are so dry I felt like I wasn't really learning too much. If you're a maintenance dummy I might suggest doing the CBT route instead of what I'm about to mention..
FSDO: After a bit of going the CBT route an older guy in the squadron pulled me aside and told me I was being an idiot and should just use my qualifications to go see the local FSDO and get my tickets faster and easier. I wasn't sure about this because I wanted to have a solid grasp of the material before I did the class. However, I was wrong for two reasons 1) The amount of material you cover is massive and wanting to be knowledgeable about all of it before the class is ridiculous and ultimately pointless 2) These test aren't written mechanics. Even with system knowledge most answers don't really make sense because they are written very vague. You're better off memorizing the answers. Having a deep knowledge of the subject is welcomed, but unneeded! I'll explain why later. I ended up getting my tickets from the FSDO and setting my date...
King Schools: I still felt like I wanted to at least see all the information, but I didn't want to read. So I shelled out the 500 for this vid

Anyone got a link? Thanks!
If so would you like to talk about it please, because, other than the one sample paper they provided us with I couldn't find anything else related to it that could help with preparation for it.
Thanks
So I've started using the NF Aeronautics mod and i cant get any of the HVR fans to work, got any suggestions on how to fix it?
Im a junior aerospace engineering student and it's almost time for me to declare an area of specialization for my major. Currently I'm interested in both industries, but I'm leaning towards aeronautics since I find it more intriguing. However, since I live in Southern California I'm also taking into consideration the vast amount of established and start-up astronautics companies that're in my area such as Rocket Lab, Spin Launch, and Relativity Space etc., some even being a 15 minute drive from home. If I were to go ahead with specializing in aeronautics, would that limit my job prospects if I decided to look for work in the astronautics sector? I'm also considering a job in defense but of course will take the best first job I can get, if any of that helps. Any advice is greatly appreciated, thanks!
