I don't watch too many twitch streamers but anyone I follow who was ever affiliated with the platform has the same thing to say about the company, they have a prevailing lack of care for their users. And what do I always hear brought up in accordance with our 🪑man's business philosophy? A relentless focus on customer support and satisfaction.
There's an already large and ever expanding group of people interested in entertainment careers through use of services like YouTube and Twitch instead of the more conventional legacy media routes. On both platforms you can find an overwhelming amount of pleas for these platforms that are so grassroots dominant to actually become grassroots focused from the company's end.
Where YouTube may be infamous for never generating profit, the pure streaming system of Twitch seems to generate quite a bit of revenue. If a competitor to the platform showed up with genuinely clear guidelines and an incredibly responsive support pipeline, I can guarantee almost every major streamer would hop ship.
But I'm an absolute ape. What do you all think? Also haven't they already been making stations in the larger GameStop's with PC's people can come in and stream from? If so it makes even more sense for them to go ahead and host the streaming as well.
