I think it's between 90's to 2000's. I remember I was watching the show back in 2001.
So the story starts with a voice telling the team that they need to fix the story of the fairy tale. The voice then chooses, i guess 3-4 animals for the mission. And then they'll be warped or teleported to the story to fix whatever the issue is.
Now the team, I'm guessing they're zodiac animals, are literally animals. I remember a rat as their captain, there was also a pig, a rabbit, and others.
I just can't remember the name ofnthe show and boy I wish I'm making this all up.
It be almost like dungeons and dragons, as animated Brienne reads a page about a knight we get sent to an adventure about that knight. Almost like a 21min Princess Bride.....minus Fred Savage.......minus Columbo......minus Andre the Giant.....minus the Dred Pirate Roberts.......but instead ASOIAF knights!!!!

The dog was a janitor I think, it showed how dumb he was and the girl was with him to make sure he wasn’t doing anything stupid or getting hurt, he was like inspector gadget but not a human that’s all I could remember, also he talked slowly and very dull it. I watched around 8-10 years old, It included the two girls both still in school one girl had bright pink/red colours and a symbol with the sun and the other girl was a black/blue design and a symbol with the moon. The show was in english and They fought off a dark purple malice. I Remember it being aired on the canadian tv program either YTV or Teletoon. It's not sailor moon. The title could have been "(blank)and(blank)". The two girl might have been twins.
