A list of puns related to "The Music Machine"
I'm a Singer songwriter
Just saying.
Hi there, here's a composer/musician that has been using Logic Pro X on a MacBook Pro for 4 years now. I used to have a Windows XP but I never used it for music production. By now I really got accustomed with both OSX and Logic's interface, shortcuts and preferences. Basically I kinda know my way around it.
However, now that some projects are coming in (I mainly do Music Production and film scoring) I am going to need a better machine since the Mac I'm using is struggling with heavier projects, especially when having 2-3 heavy libraries open. I have already done everything possible to upgrade it (8 G Ram and SSD) but being a 2011 model thereβs not much else I can do. First, I had a look at Apple's towers, however for a good official machine with the bare minimum specs I need, I have estimated a cost of 4000-5000 Β£ which is overpriced compared to its performance. So I started considering building a Hackintosh which could deliver the same performance for a lot less money (1500-2000 Β£). So I did some research and came up with a list of parts to build this machine. Problem is that I had a conversation with a friend who is an experienced computer tech and he discarded this idea. He said that he had built some Hackintoshes in the past, but they can be quite unreliable and buggy, being a product thatβs not coming directly from Apple. Therefore, it might constitute a waste of money, time and more of an issue than a solution to a problem. He really recommended re-learning production with a new DAW that is compatible with Windows (since Logic isnβt) and simply build my own desktop, therefore saving money for upgrades in the future.
Personally I'm not the geeky dude that knows a lot about tech stuff, just enough that allows me to compose and deal with minor tech issues. What I know about Mac software I learned by friends or via online research and time invested in it. I'm a bit scared of learning a completely different DAW and also using Windows which I know just a bit. With Windows I foresee a lot of time wasted figuring out stuff that I could avoid by staying with Apple, which Iβve always preferred in terms of general use.
So the question is: should I invest in a very expensive official Apple tower to keep using the system and DAW that I already know? Or should I try to build a Hackintosh for a lot less money but risk to spend a lot of time fixing bugs and issues? Or should I bin Apple and pass to Windows, therefore, making an investment for my future self (A
... keep reading on reddit β‘Recently I've found out that Florence + The machine made 3 songs for ffxv : β’too much is never enough β’the stand by me cover β’ I will be
Though you only really get to hear stand by me and have to find too much is never enough in the optional credits , as far as I know I will be isn't even in the game .
Does anyone know what happened ? It's just a shame that lots of player might not of even known .
Picture this: Zack and Tom didn't stop having the same political views and Zack's rage and energetic soul for music never died. They'd probably have a small break after the Renegades album and made a big comeback. Would they change their style like Korn and Deftones did? Would they still make the same type of music? Would they stay together long enough to still perform in 2019?
I can totally see them dropping a song or even a whole album dissing Donald Trump for example. Or all the school shootings happening around the country. America has been a crazy shitshow ever since Rage's old days and I'm sure they would have made great songs about the topics.
Sadly, we can only dream.. :')
