A list of puns related to "Sunnyside, Queens"
Just looking for other playing in my area!
First off I would like to apologize if this post is not allowed on this subreddit but I still have to try anyways. I have called the local police precinct and they advised me to keep or throw away the E-Scooter which happens to be very expensive (I looked up the model).
To DJ of Sunnyside, Queens
Early Monday morning you were involved in an accident with your E-Scooter. A few neighbors and I found your body laying on the street unconscious with bleeding from the back of your skull and bruising on your abdomen. You managed to gain consciousness a few minutes later. You told me your name was DJ.
Iβm the guy who started tending to your wounds by wrapping your head in bandage and applying pressure to stop the bleeding. The ambulance came and took you away a few minutes later.
Your E-Scooter is safe on my property and I would like to give it back to you at your earliest convenience. If you see this post please message me so I can verify it is you with certain questions.
P.S Everyone please wear a helmet when using a bicycle, skateboard, scooter, or any electric vehicle.
The Room: Available on July 1 to sublet. Utilities and AC included!! Short-term to start, for possible long-term if it is a good fit. The available room is approx. 13β x 11β, has a closet and can fit a queen-sized bed, a dresser and bookshelf or two. You will share a good-sized living room, kitchen and bathroom. The shared spaces are pretty fully furnished, but if you have pieces we can talk about re-working the space to accommodate.
The Neighborhood: Sunnyside is a quiet, residential area with a diverse mix of cultures, families and young professionals close to Manhattan, Long Island City and Astoria. It's one of the best kept secrets of NYC, IMHO (shh!). Greenpoint Avenue and Queens Boulevard are easy walks away and have an assortment of bodegas, grocery stores, pharmacies, salons, restaurants and pubs. Our apartment is about a 12-minute walk from the 7 train (40th - Lowery Stop) and it's about a 15-20 minute train ride to Times Square 42nd Street in Manhattan. The Q67 bus is also literally right around the corner and quickly connects you to the E, F, M, R & 7. The B24 is about a 5-minute walk away.
Us: You will be sharing the apartment with two professional women. One is a researcher at Mount Sinai and I work from home as a writer. Iβve been living in NYC for 4 years, and enjoy being able to retreat to the cozier community of Sunnyside after long days out in Manhattan. There are parks, a library, and a wide range of great restaurants and bars within walking distance. We both work long hours, and when we're not doing that, we like to relax, cook or have a glass of wine together. Overnight guests and company on occasion but we don't bring the party home. We're looking for a roommate in their late 20s/early 30s who is responsible, considerate, respectful, mature, and will do their part to keep the apartment clean. No smoking or pets, as per lease.
Details: Rent is $920 per month and includes utilities and AC; internet is separate and split three ways (approx. $35 per month). To move in you need first month's rent plus security deposit of $920, a letter of employment or last three pay stubs, copy of your ID, and a letter of reference from a former/current landlord or roommate. If interested, please reply and tell us a bit about yourself, why you are moving and what you are looking for in an apartment. We will contact you to schedule a time to meet and show you the space.
